IE-tan is a very rare image, as Firefox is drawn much more commonly. IE-tan is based on Internet Explorer, the default internet client for Microsoft Windows since Windows 95 (Everyone used Mosaic before then). Since so few images of IE-tan exist, the design is up to the imagination, although it is suggested she be an explorer of some kind, and has blue hair.

===Creation===
Unlike most other OS-tans, Inori Aizawa was not created by Microsoft, but instead, was created by Collateral Damage Studios as a way to make a design for IE-tan after seeing someone's design for -tans for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. After posting an early design[https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=568766473141173] on facebook and getting numerous positive feedback, being encouraged by this initial success, CDS fleshed out her design and Inori was born[https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=595517983799355], drawing more than 20,000 likes and comments and close to 2,000 shares across all of Facebook.
