cool on the box. at my house we get the channels up through the 200's, so we don't get the SUPER-specialty channels like ESPNwhatever and MNet (god i wish we got that channel, and Anime Network and Cloo too >>; ), but we get channels like Investigation Discovery and Logo. :\
we get all the HD channels for free, too : D

@leaf: i think i'll enter next year. i'm reasonably sure that if i scrambled now i could find something to turn in, but i know it'd be super-ametureish and just an embarassment to myself. so i'll take a year to apply myself and my techniques so i can enter something kickass next year. plus, if it's around the same timeframe that this year's is, it won't coincide with AB at all, so i'll be able to chill out in that respect. ^^ (i wonder which story i should submit....Europa might be a good fit. ^^ )
