So, I think I'm coming down with a cold :\

Also, thanks to mom, I missed all my other shows last night. To make things worse, the only one I can catch up on quickly without waiting forever for the episode I missed to torrent is Casshern Sins >_<

Chocofreak13

i found casshern on a streaming site, the same one that played Kaze no Stigma. surely they must have eureka 7 and samurai 7 on some streaming sites. :\

as for the cold, sorry that nej and i infected you. have some tea. *hands a cup*

Spoiler: ShowHide
In the new Doctor Who episode, the Doctor actually says "Doctor Who?". Multiple times, even. So do many others, but those don't really count (they're daleks lol)
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

Chocofreak13

I didn't, but then again I'm not that big of a fan.

Also, Nanami 2 is halfway to Michigan.

Nanami 2 refers to the laptop, as I guess she is the second to bear the name. My new tower will be named Madobe.

I actually feel I will like this new computer a lot, Madobe looks really impressive... she is 64% faster theoretically than Nanami ever was (dat 7950) and is in a case far more attractive, as well as having extra money put into her to make her more luxurious, which, to me, can make or break a system.
-Two red led SILENT fans
-Built in wireless, her predecessor did not have this because I assumed it was included, this had me yelling at my computer vocally
-Micro ATX design so she will not be so gigantic
-An enthusiast Micro ATX case (she is 14 inches tall! so cute!) that has wire management systems and is brightly red colored, also the entire side is translucent mesh
-Added sound dispersing rubber lining the inside of the case that will make her much quiter
-A quieter, more efficient name brand modular Power Supply
There are many more, but I digress, I am tired.
These things may seem trivial when compared to, say, upgrading the cpu or gpu, but small incompetencies are the things that annoy me to no end and small things matter most! Time for another soul transfer, Nanami Madobe. Third time is the charm, I know I built this one right.

Nanami was extremely popular on Craigslist... but I chose the person who asked the question of "how often was it cleaned?" in their e-mails. That person automatically got it, even if I had to ship it to Michigan. Even if I resent using Windows, all finely made hardware deserves to be taken care of, big or small, new or old. A person with that kind of question obviously cares about such matters.
Nanami has also been to Michigan before so I'm pretty sure she's not scared.

I saw the new pics, quite a batch you uploaded.

i underestimated you. though i still don't get why you want a windoes when you have a mac picture in your signature. :\
that said, sounds like she's off to a good home, and i hope that her successor does even better than she. (though the rubber lining has me worried, but perhaps that's just because of how hot it can get in there? :\ )

thanks! and there's more to come!

I don't "want" a windows. I'd like to not buy a Mac made after Steve jobs died and there are no 2008+ Mac Pros on Craigslist here. (there are barely any computers here period) It's pretty much the only option, so at least this time I'll have it built more Mac like and it will be well tolerated.

It's technically not rubber, it's actually more of a foam-like substance, but you get the point.

Chocofreak13

your computer, your life i suppose.

looking for more pics on some of my source sites~~

Meh, standard dedicated gaming tower.

Try to find some Mac ones to balance out the universe.  ;)

Speaking of computers and preferences, a Windows machine wasn't my first choice, but they were the only ones in my price range ... tbh, I haven't had any problems with Windows 7 yet and actually quite like it. (Enough to keep putting off installing Ubuntu because Windows is satisfying most of my computing needs at the moment.)

Hardware-wise, the only the thing that bothers me is the noisy fan, plus my own personal fears about overheating (I'm not used to having a warm computer in my lap ;-;), but I'd be worried about overheating issues regardless of age or brand.
