DO EET.

es done, thanks to your help.

The "only registered members" security option is bugged, so I made it "veteran members", since everyone who posts regularly is one (or above) anyway.

IKR?

I wonder if guys are in a similar state of potential-fatherhood? Hopefully AZ will come up with a follow-up law to cover the male participants of the reproductive process!

In other news..... thinking about going out to pick up a few things at the store ... and check out a couple of shops I never get to visit.... idk yet. :/

@bella: no they won't. close-minded republican type people like that always see it as the woman's burden and the woman's fault. rememeber that politican who said the most effective birth control was asprin between the knees or something like that? :\

Unfortunately for my friends in AZ, they're outvoted by all the old people (who vote in way larger numbers than all the other age groups) that decide to retire in Arizona, bringing all their socially conservative ideals and stuff with them.

I know what you mean, there are many Japan region only games that are great (such as the Project Diva games and DJMAX Technica) but they still localize a couple of good ones here. If you want some really good Localized JPN games then you can find them on the PS2 and PS3 since Sony and Nintendo are dominate in JPN and most the their games make it here to the USA.

Importing is also a lovely option when you have a PS2/PS3/PSP/PSVITA/DSLITE because they are all region unlocked unlike the DSi and up. Xbox360 is also NOT region locked but you can only get a handful of good games imported for it like Idolm@ster~

Also, the Miku is inbound on the flight to the west coast (Which should have landed about 6 hours ago) and is heading this way, should get here by Friday~

Nichi

Um...I heard the PS2 is region locked :\

Chocofreak13

really? i've never heard that. :\
i know the wii isn't region locked. how else would the Negima!? fighting game have ended up at my sister's old gamestop? :\

also, didn't you buy a japanese PS1 game from a local game store? honestly, i don't think the playstation has ever been region-locked.

@kraus: thanks for the info. i suppose i should learn japanese first, though. xD

Yes, PS1 and PS2 are region locked. My PS1 is modded, and happily, this had the added benefit of unlocking the region lock.

Even if the PS3 was region locked, Japan and the Americas are part of the same region zone for Blu-Rays, so it wouldn't matter anyway.

Nichi

Sleepy got it for me, while I was typing.

As a note, Nintendo consoles are always region locked in one way or another. However, region modding systems isn't too hard if you have the know-how; sometimes it's as simple as using a Gameshark or other similar device to get around the lock, like what I do in order to boot Japanese games on my US model PlayStation, or play Rockman X3 on a US model Super NES :3
