YellowDog Linux is a Linux distribution developed by Terra Soft Solutions and is the first Linux made for PowerPC Macs and has also been ported to the Playstation 3 and is represented as a dog girl with yellow ears and tail, wild yellow hair in a ponytail with blue streaks, and has blue+yellow eyes. She wears a collar with the Yellow Dog logo on it, a blue+yellow 1980's-style outfit with a large blue shirt, leggings, yellow leg warmers and arm warmers with yellow gloves and shoes.
YellowDog Linux-tan is friendly and loyal and is also somewhat of a gamer. She is friends with the Mac-tans, Amiga-tan, Morph OS-tan, and Puppy Linux-tan who she especially adores and likes to play with- assuming the role of a big sister despite not really being siblings. She is rivals with Inu-T though and the two often have barking matches. Yellow Dog Linux-tan's weapon is a retractable spear disguised as dog bone.
