Damn Small Linux is a distribution of Linux, which is optimized for low size and designed to fit into 50 Megabytes. This means, that DSL-tan is a small person. She often can be found where one does not expect it (like on the head of another OS-tan). Instead of the spear, which most Distro-tans use, she needs to resort to a toothpick. She reminds a bit of Juzo-kun's generic Linux-tan but has a backpack, which looks like a penguin.
