Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard is the seventh release of Apple's popular Unix-based operating system. Released on August 28, 2009, Snow Leopard looks almost identical to its predecessor, OSX 10.5 Leopard; but with a number of internal system refinements, resulting in a more stable and powerful computing experience.
Snow Leopard-tan is depicted as an ethereal-looking young woman, with long, wavy light aqua hair and eyes and white leopard ears and tail; she wears a blue, grey and white outfit consisting of a sleeveless split-front dress, high collar, a ruffled white skirt and long gloves and leggings. Completing this look are boots and a hair bow.
Emotionally speaking, Snow Leopard-tan appears to be rather serene and mature; she tends to attract less trouble than her predecessor, Leopard. She's just as affable as her other OSX sisters, and is a known acquaintance of Windows 7-tan.
OSC Notes: In several OSC-produced stories and backstory concepts, Snow Leopard-tan and Leopard-tan are considered the same character portrayed at different points in time. This fits into Snow Leopard-tan's and Leopard-tan's ability to change appearance (supposedly with the aid of technology from the distant future) and time-travel using her Time Machine. As such, both Leopard-tan and Snow Leopard-tan are accepted-- but as different versions of the same character, not two distinct ones.
