I slept in till 10am today... I only got about 8 hours sleep last night, but I feel fine. Amazing, considering I only got a few hours of sleep in the last 48 hours...

I finally got a pellet gun, it's a .177 caliber air pistol. My brother and I did target practice today, it was a lot of fun. Despite shooting being, like, my fourth choice of hobbies that I wanted to take up (krav maga, fencing and archery were ahead of it, respectively).

And then I went shopping at the second-hand store. Some people might find second-hand clothes disturbing, but there's a lot of cool finds, so yeah. Also, I enjoy the treasure hunting aspect of it, you never know what you'll find.  

Squirrelaggedon has been averted! My furry little nemesis vacated the house, I guess it must have psychically picked up on my vibes of MURDEROUS HATRED and decided to leave before things got... serious. >>

Soooo, I turned nineteen today.  Hooray!  Apparently my interview went well, I gotta tour the hatchery then "We'll talk again."

A soldier from my hometown was killed in Afghanistan last week, and his funeral was earlier today.  The kind people of the Westboro Baptist Church had announced their intent to do there thing at said funeral.  Let us say that action was probably not wise, because the word was out around the county and needless to say 99% of the populace was baseball bat to the face pissed.  They elected not to show up.  Probably a wise choice.

Spent most of my evening at the emergency room. I wasn't the sick one mind you... it was my dad. He's fine though and back home now... but damn, I was terrified for awhile.
