it's hit or miss. last year i got a copy of Codename: Sailor V for a buck and my sister got a shitload of White Wolf Novels (WW are the people who brought us such games as Changeling, Vampire, Mage, Werewolf, etc; these were Werewolf novels, with maybe one or two others). i'm not expecting such a haul this year, but it doesn't hurt to look.

@Pent: Sorry for not being online yesterday, I was so tired I zoned out for a few hours on the couch and fell asleep pretty much instantly when I actually managed to pull myself into bed. ;_;

I really only worked for the day. But I may be helping my dad out more often at local art shows and stuff, just to make a little fun-money.

Speaking of which Kari, when things settle down for you we really should start planning how/when we could meet up.

@Genpop: I have an ear ache and I'm hoping I don't have an ear infection of any kind. IDK what to do. ><

Also I have some interesting stories from yesterday. Maybe later I'll write them down here.

@bells: if you have a heating pad, wrap it around your head. and if it doesn't stop hurting after about 3 days (and you start to get the nose ick), go see a doctor if you can.
also, that festival hasn't ever really been "fun". the shortcake sucks, the events are all for little kids, we never win any raffles, and now that it's being hosted at the high school, we can't even enjoy what little atmosphere it had. i ONLY go for the bookfair.

we should all chat tonight. like, really. I MEAN IT.

Also, thanks for the tips Kari. I've found that keeping warmth on my ear soothes it. If it doesn't get better soon, though, I plan on going to the clinic. :/

do eet. if it's viral, it'll go away on its own, but being that you don't get sick as often as i do, you might not be able to tell when it's viral or not. (tbh i can't tell 100% of the time, either.) if it's bacterial, you'll need something to get rid of it.

So, jury duty was cancelled. I don't have to get up so damn early tomorrow : D

With jury duty, there's a chance that the case closes before the court date (Most commonly, both parties settling out of court); which means you don't have to go there -w-
It's why they have a hotline in place; telling you to call after 5PM the day before the trial for a prerecorded message giving you any updates, making things more convenient.

Probably a plea bargain or dismissal.  Or, being Texas, the defendant was executed ahead of trial to save time.

IDK what the case even was for; that info they don't give you until you get there for jury duty. I doubt it was for anything severe enough for a death penalty; for all I know, it could just be a guy suing someone else for taking the last Duck Dynasty hat at Family Dollar :\

@Simon: Anyone who can just leave you like that probably isn't worth it.

I don't mean to sound harsh or insensitive but the first step is to try to work through any problems. Not just break up. Especially not via TEXT.

Anyone with that mindset isn't worth your time or effort. >:/
