@kraus: danke. though there are a few problems with your statement:
1. not expecting to get a car until several years (closer to a decade in my understanding of it); if i get one any sooner than 4 years out i will be VERY surprised
2. the car i want is older than all of us put together
3. going to be sort of frustrating at first considering this means i will automatically be driving a stick without central heating/air of some kind, not to mention the process of FINDING it
4. likely going to start off with a moped with chained tires in the winter (and possibly a sidecar)

You won't necessarily drive with a stick, depending on who rebuilds it. With mom's '37 Pontiac, dad's using the engine and automatic transmission from an '85 Pontiac to power it -w-

xD

i don't have the money to transplant anything outside of seatbelts and a newer radio. (but i hope that i can keep it looking old.)

@choco: Well good luck to you, if you need help with maintenance down the road with anything I'd be happy to drive up and help you out :D
Also, if its a car from Japan I can help you get it imported for a reasonable price. People don't realize they can import cars from Japan quite cheaply and easily.

@kraus: something 40's. 46 Pontiac Streamliner Sedan 4-door was my original choice but a Pontiac Chieftain or similar-looking car wouldn't be a bad choice.

I wish this game would get a full-color remake on 3DS

Chocofreak13

how do you even PLAY something that extensive on the virtual boy...?

Indeed. A great game, but ill-suited for the system it was released on even if it was notably shorter than the rest of the Wario Land series :\

Chocofreak13

ahh, so it was shorter. tbh i figured but the virtual boy only really lended itself to short-span games like tennis and golf. :\

you know, i'm surprised they never made a Mario Bowling. that seems like a sport he could get behind. :0

Indeed. Well, the closest we have is the bowling minigame on Mario Party

As for Virtual Boy, it did have a few other noteworthy lengthy games beyond Wario Land. For instance, a Gauntlet clone that happens to be the first Shin Megami Tensei game released in the US (Japanese cover shown, as the US cover is hideous)

There was also a turn-based strategy game based on SD Gundam
