Some depictions of 98-tan show her to be a futanari (hermaphrodite). This is problematic as the character is depicted as underage, and sexual depictions or discussion about the genitals of minors is bad. Some non-pornographic OS-tan comics have even used this trope by questioning characters, such as [[Homeo]]'s, sexuality for having feelings for 98-tan.
