You know, my Konata moment last night is making me want to watch Lucky Star again. I have the box set, but it's a matter of getting to it right now...

And on a unrelated matter, I just got sent home from work because I apparently wasn't dressed professionally...even though I haven't changed how I've dressed for work since I started 1 and a half years ago. Thankfully, I'm getting off on a warning and an opportunity to head home and get a "clean" shirt...something my boss didn't seem very thrilled about (He seemed to have a look of disappointment on his face when I wasn't fired on the spot). Now if you excuse me, I need to learn how to use my mom's iron and get back to work.

I'll post a pic of how I was dressed when I get off, for those who want to see what they where complaining about (Which, after how long I've been there, I'm surprised they're just now complaining about it; making me think my boss is trying everything in his power to get me fired. All the reason to get my GED faster)

also, ironing isn't that hard. you just need to make sure that you set it to the appropriate setting for what you're ironing (most irons say on there what goes with what, for example the iron here has a setting for cotton, nylon, polyester, linen, silk, etc)., that, and make sure it's filled with water.

Was in Uppsala today, ate dinner with the family celebrating my parents' Silver anniversary (25th). Spoke a lot about the student life that awaits me.

@Choco: My only guess at what my boss' problem is, is that he does not like me for some reason; this is emphasized by every time he says "I like you, but..." or, after mentioning something good he said about me when talking to someone else, he usually says "I'm letting you know that I did say that about you". Later in the day, just before I left, he seemed to be all buddy-buddy toward me like nothing ever happened; like maybe he can lure me back into a false sense of security before he tries to pull something again.

Anyway, I bought myself some scrubs when I got off work; which will hopefully mean one less thing they can say about me. I'm going to fight to keep that position until I'm able to get a full-time job; which will further my master plan...

Yeah. I preferred the boss I had before him; if I still had that boss, I'd more likely be trying to get the position I'm in at work to be upgraded to full-time instead of moving elsewhere.

well, it doesn't look like it's going anywhere, so if you wanna wait i can try to get more work from my grandparents or mom to pay for it (since i'm so close to getting the portable scanner i wanted and this would set me back 15 bucks).

Yeah, and maybe I can get one of the scanners I have lying around to work so I can scan it up and share it here.

Of course, there's that Windows 2000 shirt I've wanted to get that's on my watch list...
