What?  Is it new or used?

Krizonar

Used,

I didn't expect the person to send me a broken computer, especially when he said it works fine and had pictures of it turned on.

Bella

I've been to ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, KY, WV (?), OH, IN, IL, MI, MO, OK, KS, AR, TX, NM, AZ, and Sonora, Mexico.

That sucks hard, Kriz. And is a reason I've always been wary of buying computers on ebay. : /

Krizonar

My iBook's from ebay, don't let her hear you say that :(

I feel your pain, I have to take my driver's license test soon too. : /

So, basically all my plans for the summer have imploded. And it looks like my life is pretty much going to implode too, because of the carelessness and poor planning of SOMEONE we stand a fair chance of getting put out of our rental place early/mid-July.

My options for the summer:
1) Go homeless. (Since there's really no place for homeless people to go here, I suppose that means "live under a tree in the woods")
2) Live in a camper. Which is how I spend my summer anyway, but I was determined to NOT DO THAT this year 'cause that + travel drives me fukken nuts.
3) Live in a half-finished shell of a house that's called "my new house". If they can get water, a septic system and a kitchen and bathroom in I'll gladly hang out there, lack of furniture be damned.
4) Stay with somebody whose attitude toward me is best described as ambivalent. On her couch. Since she doesn't have an extra room. I've checked before.

I sure wish that goddamn house was finished. Or that somebody had foreseen that it WOULDN'T be done by now and planned accordingly. -w-

Early/Mid-July?
Not NOTHING'S gonna be a problem, Broya. You know what happens then. -w-

@Bells: That really sucks :/

I'm back from the pre-exam, chances are getting better that I'm gonna pass that test quite smoothly if I'll learn a little bit more *.*

currently trying to get Linux on the iPod running... not only for the fun, but also because I'd like to be able to play FLAC)

Chocofreak13

@paul: good luck with the real test! i passed my driving course with flying colours, but only the paper portion, not the actual driving portion (though i'm not a bad driver). :3
good luck with the linux too. sounds like fun. :3
@kraus: glad to hear you're having fun.
@bells: i was gonna say it, but nej beat me to the punch. -w-
@nej: this summer's gonna be fun. -w-

Ok, iPodLinux is practically dead and doesn't run on the 6G classic... so no Linux.
But Rockbox works just fine although the release for the classic is still an early SVN.
That means I can now play flac on my iPod and have a lot of really cool options :3

Crappy joke of the day:

"Hey, guess what you call the guards who make sure people stay off the grass?
LAWN ENFORCEMENT."

LOLZ.
