Boot volume, man.  Much better for working with.  You can just install it on the same partition as OS X as far as I know.

Something else to talk about... I did some translating from French to Finnish today. Quite technical vocabulary, so I had a bit of difficulties here and there, but most of it went very well.

so i thought my computer was broken again, but it turned out just to be the adapter. i'ma pick it up in about an hour. :3

also, it's amazing how subliminal things from tv can really be effective; when i was typing the website for my school's online class section, i had been listening to SVU talk about prisoners avoiding the warden's censors on their mail. as a result, instead of typing my.lesely.edu (my school's site) i typed my.warden.edu .___.;

I didn't have the original disc for this computer and OS9 cannot be installed on a disc with OSX on it, so I just used the terminal to delete the entire hardrive. lolz!

since i don't know where else to put this, what languages do you guys speak? any languages you're trying to learn?

i speak english (duh), some french and german, and i'm trying to learn japanese. :3 (i also hope to learn russian and more esperanto one day. :3)
i found a couple good videos online to learn japanese, and there's a free site to learn esperanto on the net. :3
