Grad school, fun...

I've considered pursuing a master's degree someday; that is if I don't end up in the military out of college instead, 'cause it's my dream to become either absurdly overeducated or become an officer in the Navy or Air Force. And by "my dream" I mean "my family's dream", those wacky SOBs .w.

Speaking of family, some extended family members are going to tour the Eastern Seaboard this summer; Virginia to Maine as I understand it. I'm considering tagging along and getting in the way and stuff. >|D

Dr. Kraus

Hold on let me just shut everything down so my bill isn't any higher...

Grad school eh? I've got two years till I start my undergrad and (hopefully) major in Computer Science and Engineering with my friend whom is probably going to CMU because his brother is about to graduate in 2012. While my friend and I don't graduate high school till 2013...still a long road ahead, hope its not bumpy -.-

Carnegie Mellon?  Nice.

If I decide to become a librarian, I need to go to grad school.  But I can haz no money for it.  Oh well.

Dr. Kraus

CMU all the way baby, If I take the trolly which is 5 min from my house walking I can get to CMU within 20 min. I'd really like to go to CMU or Pitt because I can mooch off my parents for a while or live in our duplex. It would be nice to stay in my home town for collage, I wouldn't have to pay a ton for collage if I go to CMU or Pitt due to living in the state and city!

suddenly, grad school discussion! lol

Well, I'm going to pursue a Master's in Aerospace Engineering, probably focusing on control systems.  I had wanted to land a job before going to grad school, but seeing that I still don't have one.... yeah.  Grad school it is.

I applied late, and I've only applied locally. So it's USC, UC Irvine, or CSU: Long Beach. USC is an awesome engineering school, but it's a bit expensive.
And if I somehow do end up with a job somewhere else in the meantime, I'll probably try to defer grad school for a year. (Or the job, depending on what they want)

Dr. Kraus

Nice! USC truly is a great Engineering college, too bad schooling isn't free over here in the states as it is in many other countries!

In other news:
Ghetto computer is having a fit after I put its old video card back in it to dual screen, he is now in time out in the closet as Kaika is now in working condition.

Really wish that Yamaha would consider making an English version of Vocaloid and release it here in the USA. There are probably many people in the USA looking for software like it and could really change music in the US as a hole.

@kraus: FIX YON GRAMMAR, BOI.
@sleepy: good luck in whatever happens. :3 believe you'll get your first pick, and you will--i did! (which is good, since i only applied to one college. ;v; )
@stew: really? thought there were degree programs for that, someone i used to know was doing that. :\

my hair is so cute like this <333

Yes, you can get a BA in Library Science but even my high school librarian had an MA.  To get a job you really do need to go to graduate school.  Plus, nowhere within feasible range offers a BA and only one or two an MA.
