For a few months now I've been playing one of the best online games I've seen. It's called Cybernations, and you create a nation anywhere in the world and decide how you will rule your people by choosing a government type, a national religion, ethnicity, tax rate, currency type, and more in this geo-political, nation, and government simulator. You can build your empire by purchasing infrastructure to support your citizens, land to expand your borders, technology to increase your nation's effectiveness, military to defend your interests, and develop national improvements and wonders to build your nation according to your choosing.

It's a very good game, and if any of you are interested in the game, it's available free at:
http://www.cybernations.net/

Since it's a very competitive game, it is recommended that you join an alliance. A very good alliance is the GGA, located here:

(Note: This is not intended as a promotion. I just wanted to talk about a game I like, like some people talk about World of Warcraft)

I hate CyberNations! An established IRC-channel, I was in was frequently visited by CN-heads who'd join and leave, sometimes insulting us since that channel was not their guild/league/association/alliance channel they expected. It only stopped when Esper did no longer allow CN-Channels on its servers.  :smoke:

There are better games like CN: Surf to http://www.nationstates.net or http://www.ars-regendi.com

What ever happened to discussing what your currently playing in the "what are you playing?" thread?  We get dozens of these 10 posts at most threads for a single game, and then they die. -_-
