Thank you.  ^__^
Oh, and I see you noticed the new Beryl theme.  ^.^

What can I say?  I'm a sucker for festivals of colors.  ^v^
Besides, it was the only theme that I liked that also had glowing buttons (they glow nicely when you hover your mouse over them) AND sticky window buttons (very useful for Inkscape and GIMP... ^.^).

I've been sidetracked a little because of the drawings and other delays, so I'll probably skip that tonight and focus on releasing parts of Chapter 3.  This will involve the Fill and Stroke Window, which I've said time and time before is one of the KEY things to know about in-and-out.  ^___^

The only other basic feature that I may go over with equal detail will probably be the Boolean Operations -- other than that, I'll try to coast over everything else so I can go ahead and start the section on Anime art deconstruction.

C-Chan

I'm very proud to announce the initiation of Chapter 3!!!  ^v^
Given the subject, I promise this will be a very "colorful" section.  ^__^
(bad pun intended)

Took a bit longer than I thought to get my groove back on track, but I shouldn't have a problem going forward.  Don't know why I chose a living bomblet as my practice mascot,... just some random idea that occurred to me.  ^^;

Wrote a little bit more, although left it hanging near the end of Linear Gradients:

Sadly, I'm still pressed with other deadlines so can't devote much time to anything.  Still managed to whip out another page, though,... just enough to finish up the section on Linear Gradients:

Woohoo!  Once again, I've restarted progress on my Inkscape Tutorial.  ^__^

This was produced partially on my 3ePC-chan, although without Inkscape (or at least something newer than 0.44) and all the fonts that I use, I can't actually produce the whole thing on it [for now anyway].

In any event, the section on Radial Gradients is done!  ^__^

Next up is my LEAST favorite, but still extremely useful explanation of Pattern Fills.  ^___^

But for now,... tired myself out.... X__X

C ya!  *snores*  -__- Zzzzz

C-Chan

Okay, slight change in plans...

I managed to get a lot of pages written tonight -- however, it's about everything EXCEPT Pattern Fills.  ^^'

I just wanted to get a few basic things out of the way first.

Anyway, still short on time, so I'll try to be back soon.  ^.^

*rushes off again*

Tsubashi

Wow Senpai, you've got quite an impressive bit of work here! Very impressive. Rather nifty what you chose to write on, I never really knew what the Miter Limit was for before now. Great Job~desu!

C-Chan

Thank you Tsubashi-dono.  ^^
I do feel bad that Pattern Fills aren't in there yet.  I used it to create the wings and the wood textures in that CE/DSL pic.  I'll see how quickly I can get it up and running.  ^.^

C-Chan

Mucho progress on the Pattern Fill section!  ^___^

It's not done yet,... but not wanting to sign off empty-handed for the night, I'd figure I leave some previews of the Pattern examples I'll be using:

All of these are 100% produced in Inkscape.  ^^
Sadly, the vectorized cloud formation falls outside the scope of Pattern Fills, but I might discuss it during the Blur Effects section.

C-Chan

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Why is this not getting done?!!!!!  >0<

....

I sucketh.............  -_____________-

...........

Well, at least I'll show what I've wasted my time on this time.  ^^'

Plaid, cross-hatching and "practical application" samples.  ^^'

*snore*  -__-  Zzzzzz

Tsubashi

No, senpai/ Thou sucketh not. You are just busy! And, if I had to guess, methinks thou hast not enough sleep ^^'

C-Chan

Thank you, Tsubashi-dono, but I fear it's too late,...

My level of suckage has completely gone off the charts and will explode to new heights of imbecility!!!  ^0^

In any event, I'm afraid the Pattern Fill section WILL take a lot longer than I thought, so I'm thinking of laying off it for a while and resume drawing and Wiki editing since clearly this Rome ain't gonna get built any time soon.  ^^'

But at least I've covered the very basics of it, so the remaining examples will just provide step-by-step instructions on how to do even cooler effects.  -v-

Bella

That's handy...I really had no idea how to do patterns before...!

Aurora Borealis

Even if the pattern fill section isn't complete, it's still really good and from that I finally found out how it works! :D

C-Chan

Awesome!!!  Now my life's work is finally complete!  Time to retire.  ^^

Just kidding,.... ^^
Will finish the rest up in time, since some pattern possibilities may not be entirely obvious at first.  ^.^
