I guess, although things are pretty quickly going to shit as a result of my decision, even if I wouldn't be much better off had I stayed.

2kME is trying to give out on me...and I don't have the money necessary to make the revised edition happen, even if I have a majority of the pieces needed; since, no matter what I do, I have to buy a new keyboard because of a lack of PS/2 ports. So, that, on top of being unemployed, nearly broke, slowly reaching a point where I'll be forced to purge large chunks of my game collection just to get the money to survive, and feeling like everything is closing in around me due to a lack of an escape plan and the one person that plays a critical role in that hypothetical escape plan is barely online as of late...yeah; the past few weeks have been godawful.

I did get a job interview earlier in the week, but I haven't heard back yet, it's basically at the edge of the cut-off for hearing back, and anxiety sets in as I wonder if I said something wrong in the interview and gave off a bad impression because of how jaded I am because of so many shitty ex-bosses at pretty much every job I've ever had, and will likely continue to have for however many years I've been damned to stay in this place.

EDIT: Yaay everything's going directly to hell

- Call back from employer; basically saying "thanks but no thanks", making me feel like maybe I said something wrong during the interview that fucked myself over.

- I start to tear down 2k V1.7 to merge with the current 2k...but, the motherboard uses a proprietary power button wiring because it's a Dell, and fuck Dell for having so many fucking proprietary plugs like they're Apple or something, and of course my power supply is too big to fit in this case properly, so I just wasted $10 on a 2nd gen i3 desktop I can't even use because fuck Dell. I wasted $8 I shouldn't have spent to get a USB keyboard, only to find this out >>;

- The current 2k is so flaky that it can barely play MP3s in VLC under a normal work load without sputtering and skipping. I'm just stuck with this until it finally dies, and then I'm fucked again.

So, I might possibly, hopefully, have a job soon. Which, when I do, I'm starting to plan out what I want to do first after I get bills caught up. So far, I know I plan to save money for the convention next year (Plus plan out a cosplay I'd like to do), and either build a new desktop or buy something off the shelf to tide me over until it's viable for me to build 2k-mk2.
