So guys, my local pharmacy still sells morphine over the counter.  I went in and asked for some, they gave it to me, no questions asked.

For what use is that sold OTC? If they tried to do that in the US, thousands would die. (We're in the midst of a pretty serious opiate addiction problem from doctors overprescribing painkillers and people getting hooked.)

So, I did upgrade my phone after all...kinda. The Galaxy Amp 2 is basically a repackaged Galaxy S3 with some differences; it doesn't feel as nice, the camera doesn't take as big of pictures, the screen brightness isn't auto-adjusting, it lacks an indicator LED for charging \ new messages, and it lacks a gyroscope, but it does get better reception and faster network speeds in exchange. Performance wise, it's just like my old S3, just without routinely overheating and having more options to improve battery life*

Which, as for what I'm doing with my old S3, I'm currently in the process of installing Cyanogenmod on it; something I wanted to do, but it was too high-risk when it was still my primary phone (As, because it's an unusual model variant, there were more risks involved than if I just had a plain Verizon version instead). If this works, I'll probably further experiment with it.

My current device is a BlackBerry Passport.  Got it a few months ago when my OnePlus One started having battery issues.

Huh, interesting. I take it the dosage is minuscule enough for it to not be dangerous? Any reason why it's still used?

So, I did have Cyanogenmod 13 running on Flonne III, although it broke as soon as I tried to install Google Play support, so I had to reflash back to the stock Tracfone\StraightTalk ROM. I plan to try again sometime later

This is why I hate carriers, they insist on doing all this customisation to their phones.  I've heard of phones that straight up don't work with generic ROMs because of something the carrier did to the design of the circuitboard.  I bought my last two phones direct from the manufacturer, so I don't have to deal with that crap.

Like, if I had an S3 branded by one of the major carriers here, modding would be easier...but, it's Tracfone branded, and has ever-so-slight differences that keep it from working 100% with generic ROMs, and the provider wants you to just buy a new phone instead of issuing OTA updates for any of their non-iPhone models :\

So, I bought a new phone...and changed providers, as well, to one that will support my phone, even if it only cost $1 thanks to a promotion

It sounds like everybody has had a busy couple of months. I have an intership at a place called Infor Lawson which is why I have been gone.

On the topic of custom ROMs an stuff I haven't really done any of that stuff lately. I used to Root and Jailbreak all the time but now days I guess I'm just satisfied enough to leave it alone.

I other news I'm evolving my username again to a name that will make it even harder for people to associate me with Lego!
LegoJR -> Legojr -> Legojer -> Le-Gojer.
Maybe I'll eventually make it just Gojer.
