At least, after tomorrow morning, I'm off until Tuesday night; by then, they'll be restocked. Also, since my sister got to go to Tyler today, I had her pick up the new Disturbed album for me -w-

@Leaf: i do. Steve bought a Wacom Bamboo a long time ago but never used it, so he gave it to me. before that, i had a Genius and another one, can't remember the brand. both were....okay, but the Wacom blows them out of the water (though it is a smidge small at points). :0

cool, guys. i'm looking to get into the tablet game, but i'm poor and want to know what i can get that is good but cheap.

i don't know anything about the brand, so i can't say. i've had a good experience with this brand, but once again, can't guarentee. (my Genius was a bit fragile, though, so be careful if you get one; i think either the cord snapped off the logic board or it just broke internally. i had a bad habit of wrapping the cord around the tablet, and still do ;^; ).


what i did before buying was google the brand and read product reviews. that's the best advice i can offer. :\

So, work got off to a pretty good start...and then we got hit all at once with several parties.

One of the waitresses pissed me off during this rush, by coming over and demanding to know where the cups are, when nobody has brought any to me in about 20 minutes. Then, she finds some, and hijacks the dishwasher and overstuffs the rack I had filled up and was about to go in...and she started screaming at me about me trying to put it in "too soon" because she needs the goddamned cups right now and I better let her do this, because obviously overloading the racks so that nothing gets cleaned properly is far more practical. I can't stand it when, instead of asking me nicely to do something, they just treat me like dogshit because I can't just magically make stuff appear that they need right this instant, and the root of the problem stemming from our moron of a boss not ordering new supplies that we need badly. I then, as the earliest convenience, went into the freezer to get myself to calm down.

When I got off, to help myself relax after all of that bullshit, I took the long way home and drove through the Dogwood Trails for a while, as I listened to the new Disturbed album (My thoughts on it so far are over in What's Playing, for the curious). Which, can I just say the combination of a shady backroad, some vultures flying out of my way, and the song Save Our Last Goodbyes made it feel like I was in a scene from a movie?

Doing much better now, and I'm about to take a bath. Thankfully, I'm off until Tuesday night; giving me some much-needed time to unwind...and also I still need to catch dad something in the remaining extended weekend and tell him about my intent to move out of state.

EDIT: So, for lunch today, my sister made burgers; using a mixture of beef and a spicy sausage. It was good *w*

good luck! i can honestly say the Bamboo is the best, most durable tablet i've ever owned. it also doesn't require batteries, so that's a plus. watch out for the price, though. :\
