I've mainly been stuck knee-deep in writing my paper and other reallife issues. Seems like you've been getting about just fine, though.

I am now back with 150% more cynicism.

Everybody was thankful I showed up to work today; as several of my coworkers called in today, leaving us short-handed. The day went pretty well, though, and they did let me know they'll likely need me on Friday because they have two parties booked.

So, Thursday is set for Portals

Not much drama, just lots of annoying RL stuff. Having to rush back and forth between Uppsala and my parents' place once a week, LOL ELECTIONS so that weekend was spent counting votes and raking in cash from the county payroll, writing my paper and doing research, STUFF in general.

So, I maaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy be getting a Samsung Galaxy S5 for $199.

It's waterproof and has a 2.5GHZ quad-core processor. Which makes it about 0.2GHZ faster and 100% more waterproof than my laptop.

I feel bad about decommissioning my Galaxy S1 but I've had it for 2 years now, it's broken AND very slow. So it's probably had a good run.

More likely though I'll just be spending my money on a Big Ass Computer instead. OMEGA is getting tired. Curiously enough LAMBDA is still chugging along as happily as ever, despite being plenty older than the big O. I'm probably gonna buy her an extra SSD (and perhaps some more RAM if there's space for it) to pop into that empty slot she has, but aside from that, and the little maintenance I did on her this winter (replacing a worn out power plug, of all possible things) she's still trucking along like 2009 was yesterday.

Damn, girl, you cray.

Anyway, tomorrow I have the opposition for my paper, so I gotta slag now. Can't afford to be half-awake in that class.

I currently do not have any plans for my devices besides perhaps buying a 7950 for Cheetah. I have read Sapphire's versions are very quiet, which was my qualm about buying a faster card, noise.

I haven't had much to say lately, but I'm happy to be drawing OS-tan stuff again! For the past 1-2 years, I just lost the motivation for it, but it's back!

That's good to hear! I'm happy to have you back and see new arts from you. A lot of things have changed over the years but having you around makes me think of the (mostly) good ol' days of OSC. ^.^

Also, the one thing that has me hesitant about getting a new phone is the fact I should probably start thinking about getting a new desktop too... I really want to get a 2012 Mac Pro but I don't know the first thing about shopping for used Macs ... and my last used computer experience wasn't so great. /sigh

I really want to get a 2012 Mac Pro

I'd actually recommend a late 2012 or even a used but current iMac if I were you, my Mac Pro choice was as much dream completion as it was logical.

If you really really want a Mac Pro, like I did, a 2009 one is typically the best choice for used.
