ughhhhh. i found a super-cool new app but it requires iOS7, which i hate and refuse to upgrade to. ><;;

Been there before :\

If I had a dollar for every OS X compatible game I want to play that only runs on OS X 10.7+ (I run OS X 10.6.8), I would have like twenty bucks.

I guess the silver lining is, when I finally get around to buying another Mac I'll have no shortage of games to play. And they'll probably be marginally less expensive by then....

Indeed. In my case, the only thing keeping me from dropping TF2 onto Asagi II is that she lacks an ATI or nVidia graphics chipset; instead having the rubbish Intel HD chipset as a severe bottleneck :\
(...and 2k, while more than powerful enough, isn't portable enough to deal with a game that has frequent giant updates and requires transport to grandma's office. I had to give up on La Tale and MapleStory because they simply took too long to patch over my hone connection :\ )

They aren't super frequent.  You get a 200MB update maybe every four months or so with under 10 maybe every two.

Noted. I remember they were more frequent and always gigantic when I had TF2 installed on TARDIS way back in 2010, so I guess they changed that

It was kind of awkward when the guy asked me if I "liked those kind of books", because I didn't know if he was talking about the bikini-clad girls on the front cover of the book, or just Japanese comics in general.

also, i DETEST the look and feel of iOS7. i've tried it on my sister's phone and the functionality, styling, and display mechanics are revolting. ><;;;;;;;

i'm running out of space on my external with all this torrenting and i'm upset about it. i'm also upset at having to sacrifice space for dual-audio so i stopped. even worse when sometimes, the only dual-audio is distributed by this randy guy and is 1080p with the highest file size possible. >:I

iOS7 isn't that bad once your muscle memory gets used to it. the pulldown and pullup menus are a lot more convenient than going into settings and changing things manually. I for one like it a lot more than iOS6-.

cutesy and white and the stupid round number buttons when you go to unlock it, it makes me want to hurl. the way things flow when you flip them around. the fonts.

it has nothing to do with muscle memory. it's personal taste. (i don't want my phone looking like a fisher-price toy.)

Mmm. Maybe whenever I can play it again, we can join up
