@Kari: For what it's worth, the link Leaf posted showed a Google Streetview of an NY town apparently destroyed by a tornado.

In the first shot everything is normal looking fine, but when you "walk" down the street, you're suddenly in a decimated landscape. Scary stuff. :O

ETA: Apparently this is somewhere in Statin Island after Hurricane Sandy.

Have I ever mentioned I hate my mom? No? Well, I hate my mom. I just get in the fucking door, get everything back in, get a quick drink of orange juice, and get into my room to go to bed...and suddenly she's yelling at me to go to bed. Like, no fucking shit; I just fucking got in and that's exactly what I'm about to do, but she feels the fucking need to remind me like I'm a goddamn 5-year-old >_<;

good god. i stressed out all night having feverishly strange dreams because i didnt do an essay, only to wake up wicked fucking early and have my dad tell me while i'm getting ready that it's a fucking holiday. i am so angry.

@Spence: Indeed. My main hope is to finally be able to move out by the end of the year; if I get as far away from mom as possible, and only see her around Christmas or some other holiday, I might not hate her quite as much since she wouldn't be in my presence every day :\

@Cockle: If it makes you feel better, I rushed out this morning to mail off a very important, time-sensitive package to Kari...only to get to the post office and find they're closed because it's a holiday >_<;

I just read the syllabus for my intro to game programming class and I feel like passing out now................ ;_____;

By week two I have to write a 2-4 page game review, by week 3 I have to propose my own game idea, by week 4 I have to propose a research paper topic, week 5 a character, and then a game storyboard by week 6 ... and then it's on to the mid terms ....

I also have a lot more work for my creative writing class than I first expected, including having to write POETRY.
