well, you DO live in the centre of hell. but that happens to me a lot too, it seems like a trial-and-error thing. some days it doesn't work for me, either. ever since they switched to the new site model they've had this problem, but i check my weather so seldom that i don't even notice.

It looks like dad has made good on his blackmail. He's refusing to drive me to Cambridge for the flea market this Sunday. And he has the nerve to say it's because HE has a full schedule when he isn't god damn working anymore and his days generally consist of doing building stuff for like 45 minutes and spending the rest of the day watching television and/or eating. (If he'd said "you have a lot of homework and I don't want you to lose a whole day" I would have been slightly less insulted, because at least THAT would be true.)

Kari, would you be interested in going/able to go to Cambridge this Sunday? Ik it's really short notice, but dad waited until today to tell me this, in true I-am-an-unreliable-bastard fashion. I'm considering taking a bus in, and I'd like to do more with my day than just wander around the city all alone like an idiot. Also, you know, I've always wanted to spend a day wandering around Boston or Cambridge with you. ;^;
