@Leaf: Not sure if it can be considered processor-intensive but I was on a video call for maybe 20 minutes when it first crashed. The second time it crashed before I could even sign into Windows. And the third occurred a few moments after I restarted said call.

@Spence: I've had computers (well, a computer) shut off from overheating. Unfortunately that was K8, and the overheating and shutting off kept getting progressively worse and worse until she was unusable. :[

Hopefully this is just a fan or ventilation issue. I'm running Speedfan as we speak and keeping an eye on the temps.

Hope everything is fine. Also, I only ever had one computer that had overheating problems, and that was Zombie; which required I have it sitting on a hard flat surface at all times, because if it was on anything less, it'd have a "Computer is overheating" icon appear in the corner and then cut the power; which resulted in so many comics and stories I was working on being lost :\

Wasn't K8 a eMachines? Zombie was, as well; so maybe there's a link...

Anyway, I had a day that was really up and down. Started off shitty as I realized I was wearing the wrong shoes to work (They were my off-work pair; which has zero traction on the wet floors in the back), but thankfully I was allowed to take a 15-minute break to run to Wal-Mart and get a better pair (They weren't that much better by the end of the night, but they were better than what I was wearing). Aside from a messed-up stomach, which started to slow me down a bit toward the end, it was alright.

On a different note, I think Bella will approve of me winning an auction on eBay for a DEC shirt for myself :3

@Kari: Even though K8's specs would be extremely modest (by which I mean laughable) by today's standards, I wish she still in working condition! I loved that computer and it gave me many years of fine service despite her many issues.

@Pent: Congrats on the DEC shirt! ^.^
