I'll have been around for 5 years in September...

It doesn't feel like its been that long even though I'm barely around in the first place...

it's because you're barely here! (stick around more!)

EDIT: was reading NEO's Jan 13' issue, the article on the manga magazine If. and i found a one-shot only a nej could care for: "Labratory of Love" by Hidarino Minji. let's just say some "experimenting" goes on... xD

@sleepy: nii-chan, tell me what panda was like :0
haha, pitkin might know more than I.
I never did interact with panda much, but I believe her personality was a touch abrasive. So long as you knew that going in, everything was cool.

Chocofreak13

ah, i see. i've often wondered what some of the older members were like, those that i never met.

niiii-chaaan, tell me more about the earlier days of osc~~~

Panda was really nice in private and I'm still in touch with her regularly over email. In the forum, however, she didn't seem to get along with many people. ._.

stewartsage

People don't care or pay attention to how long I've been a contributing member of most places so I get treated like an idiot most of the time.

Except for OSC, where everyone's chill and the points don't matter.

Oh man, I've been marathoning 'You Deserve a Drink' with Mamrie Hart.... I think its time to admit I like puns.

Nichi

@Stew: To paraphrase MST3K:
"The death softens the blow of the pun!"

LeaflameSD

I've been reading about Chris-chan and honestly... it's scary.

Maybe the fact that many active members were male was off putting? There were a few disagreements in some topics too, but I'm not really privy to what went on there. That may have been more relevant. But whatever, I'm just grasping at straws here.

Looking at the older members, I'm just... wow, what happened to Codi? or Q4(V)? MisterCat even? Havent heard from DarkNight, the Cap, or C-Chan in forever either.

Nichi

Indeed. I haven't heard from Cappy in ages; she doesn't seem to do anything on FB anymore :\

I dunno about the others, but C-chan very publicly retired from the site. As in, giving like a few weeks warning that he was going to leave, and then he left exactly when he said he would. :( We talk on Deviantart sometimes, but I still haven't been able to work up the nerve to ask if he'd like to talk on skype/facebook/etc. (I recall he was really against IM'ing and social media in general back in the day, but idk if that's changed since then?)

Chocofreak13

do eet. it'd be nice to have some information on the alumnus of OSC. where are they now~~~

@pit: maybe if you mention that the population has more or less evened out, she might be inclined to come back. ^^
@sleepy: i often wonder that too.....it's like i missed out on a whole chunk of the site's history, like there's many inside jokes that have been missed and touching moments unexperienced.
@leafchan: he wasn't THAT bad. but he came from the same country as you, which might be intimidating. he was a bit of a perv at times and sometimes asked for info that i wasn't all too comfortable replying to. but he wasn't a bad guy. introduced me to k-pop, actually. :3
@pent: it'd be nice if she came back, especially considering i don't harbor NEARLY the amount of resentment for her i used to. (resentment caused by fear, mind you.) the last time she was here, she was nice. :3

Q4(V) and I talk at times still. We used to even call each other international calls back in time, ending in big phone bills. ^^; He's really nice, wish he was around here still. It's been several years since I last spoke with Codi, and about one year less since I spoke to her sister. I don't have their contact information anymore, but already back then they were getting very busy with their lives, so they were never really online anymore.

As for getting panda/others back, I've tried. They are usually very strongly against it.

FUN FACT: I can bloody well pinpoint the clan's villa on a 1:10000000 (1cm=100km) satellite map without borders or anything. Oh, the things you learn when you're playing with Google Earth...

Also, I have an immense urge to start playing Golden Sun again
