Re: Hearing: I think I was always asking people to repeat themselves because I was kinda ADHD as a kid and probably didn't pay attention like I should have. ><;;;

Also....... I have terrible news everyone........ I'M GETTING SHORTER AND FATTER. ;_____;

Or, well, something's happened in my ass/thigh area and I can no longer wear my snow pants. They were always snug but now it's a battle to get them on. :z I thought maybe I grew a bit (since they felt shorter as well) so I had my dad measure me with a level and carpenter's measuring stick (it looks like a yard stick but is maybe 8 feet long) and it turns out I'm ~5'5 1/2''. I THOUGHT I WAS 5'6''!!??!

*cries*

Nichi

@Bella: I'm sorry to hear that :[
Maybe the pants shrunk in the wash?

NejinOniwa

One does not simply snow pants into washing machine.

I've had that happen to me as well, but most times it turned out to be simply mistaking some other clanner's for my own. Ain't easy.

My advise is to check all straps, check all lockers in the house and make sure these are, in fact, YOUR snow pants and not someone else's (or your old pair). IDK how it is over there, but the clan has a tendency to only buy snow pants in black, black, black and black, and forgetting which pair is your current one is not as hard as one would think. Also, remember that gravity makes you slightly shorter in the evening than you are in the morning. Sleep flattens you out, so to speak. Physix.

And if all else fails and you've actually gained some girth, this is the best season to plug on your skis and do a bazillion laps around something to lose it. -v-
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

Chocofreak13

don't feel so bad, bella. i had that problem last year as i was trying to get dressed to go to thanksgiving and i realized that a chunk of my clothes will no longer fit. mind you, this is due to growing up, not down, but i've also grown out a bit, if you catch my drift. >///>;;

this is the perfect season to get on a fitness plan, though. i've resolved to take better care of myself this year (and to actually learn japanese, and maybe to follow through with more of my stuff), so if you want someone to go in on getting excercise with you, i've been meaning to find my excercise bike anyway. ^^

I've vowed to finally move out of my parents' house this year. I need to restart the savings, though; I had to cut into what little I had in an emergency a few weeks ago. But, once it starts up again, I plan on moving a bit more quickly to get up to the amount I'd like to have set aside in a savings account as my "safety net", before I start looking into pricing on rent and such

DustiiWolf

Well, my plans seem to keep slightly altering...
If you guys dont remember, last year i talked about moving to Boston.
Then me and the person close to me came to the conclusion that we'd never be able to afford boston. Now were moving to Pittsburgh.

This time the plans have changed in the financial area. we originally planned on saving up 1500 before moving. Now were planning on saving up 2000 to 2500 so we have enough "rainy day" funds available in case of emergency or problems with bills (aka: a "rainy day"). 2000 - 2500 should be enough for 3 - 4 months expenses.

... well i really should say "they" planned on saving, since i currently am w/o a job. Though i may be getting a job as a waiter. There's this little cafe in town 15 minutes from here that my dad knows the owners. They have, in the past, hired older teens & adults to wait for tips (aka: no steady paycheck.). My dad said he'd talk with the owners and see if they had an availability for a waiter. (fingers crossed on whether he actually follows through and/or remembers to talk to them.) Also, chances have been lowered, since the owners are in the process of switching managers. The managers that the owners originally hired packed up and left town for some unknown reason. So it may be dependent on the new manager(s). And if they say no in such a case, then im out of luck.

So if i get the job, me and that person close to me will be put "that much closer" to moving. The original plan was February, but i let them know that i dont mind if i have to wait an extra 2 - 4 weeks for us to move. (They were talking about getting extra shifts and overworking themselves at the job they already hate, are overworked at, mistreated, and underpaid at. I said i wouldnt allow them to work themselves to death at a miserable job just to make me happy. I am grown up. I can wait.)

also, i have been enjoying my Windows Phone (anxious for 7.8 ), and have got new headphones (comfy and stylish). c:
Official -tans are my bat signal.

Chocofreak13

kickass about the phone, headphones, and potential job. sucks that you ruled out boston since the surrounding communities aren't horribly expensive depending on where you go. you even mentioned Nashua, which i can assure you is one of the lowest rent places around, while still being quite safe, especially compared to some other places. Nashua is quite nice, boasting a lovely hospital, great shopping, and a cozy atmosphere. plus social services is right here so in the event you need to go on some form of disability (which don't judge, i know plenty of people who are, including my family in a couple forms), you can just walk right to the office.

that said, i hope pittsburgh works out. it seems like a nice city. and saving up more is always wise.

@pent: you can do it. and remember, don't believe in yourself. believe in me, who believes in you. :3

@Dustii: I hope it works out ^^

@Kari: Thanks :3

So, I'm not 100% sure if I'm ready to go back to work tonight :\
I don't feel like that doctor gave me enough time to heal, yet it feels like everybody disagrees (Yes, some of my strength is coming back. I don't have the energy to last 4 hours, yet it feels like everyone is telling me to go in anyway and "find the strength" (Whatever that means; it feels irrelevant to this situation)). Also, I have to figure out how to go get my paycheck, as I'm *still* not direct deposit after nearly one and a half months (I don't get what's taking so long. Same with hearing back on the dental and vision insurance).

I might try going by work to get my check, and maybe if they see the condition I'm in, they might let me out of working tonight. Worth a shot

EDIT 3: (Condensing the previous rant down)
Had some problems with mom's dog not wanting to come back inside. She's finally back inside

Also, I'm thinking of calling in at work tonight. Just getting my check and some gas really took a lot of energy out of me ~_~
On a lighter note, my truck may have redeemed itself; I put in some fuel injector cleaner, which seems to have eliminated the issues with it dying on me.

Chocofreak13

glad to hear about the truck, and it seems they let you off work, too. so if nothing else, things seem to be going a bit smoother. :\

GothTouch is a bit of a sped. but hopefully he'll catch up.

That's good.

So, today I go back to work. I hope I can manage that 4 hours :\

Also, mom's been extra annoying today >_>

EEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYUUUUGHHHHHHHRHHHHHHHHHHG.

I went to the dentist this afternoon and found out I have to get this massive filling (it takes up 1/5th - 1/4th of my left first molar) redone. On the 28th of January. So not looking forward to that, even if it is 8 years old and pretty much crumbling at this point. :z

Nichi

I hope that goes well :[

Chocofreak13

crumbling? damn girl, either your cavity's huge or your dentist sucks. (and by sucks, i mean is using sucky methods/materials.)

but at least you can HAVE dental work. i'd kill to be in your position right now. :[

Bella

Maybe I exaggerate, the filling isn't quite crumbling but it's getting pretty chipped and is close to "separating" from the tooth in places. The original was done ~8 years ago by a dentist of somewhat questionable skill. >>

Still haven't seen a dentist about your tooth problem? :(

Chocofreak13

not yet. but i at least have some numbers. ><;
