If you have nasal congestion, go to a pharmacy counter and pick up some sudafed (the original kind with pseudoephedrine, not the useless-ass kind that they sell on the shelf), I had horrible sinus congestion and I bought some generic, pharmacy-brand pseudoephedrine-based decongestant and it worked well. And if it's chest congestion, look for a generic version of Mucinex, because Mucinex is fuckin' expensive ($38 for a box of maximum-strength Mucinex DM) and the generics can work just as well for a fraction of the price ($10). Today I bought some from Rite-Aid, it's a lower dosage than the name brand and I have to take it more often but so far it seems to be working okay.

And if it's both, look for Mucinex D ... it's sold over-the-counter just like Sudafed. Dunno about the price though since I've never used it.

Generally I get Sunday and Monday off, although since Tuesday is Christmas, I have that day off as well. They're open on Christmas Eve, although it's a short day; I might cone in if they need me
