Thanks for the tips guys. I've tried tea and honey, and it sort of helps, but only while i'm drinking it. Same goes for Halls lozenges. I called into work and said I may not be able to make it tomorrow (since if I can't talk and am generally feeling miserable, there's really no point in being there), I'll probably go to the clinic if i don't feel better tomorrow to make sure I don't have strep throat or something nasty like that. :Z

@bella: well, there's no instant cures for sick. warm soup, plenty of fluids, and rest will be your mightiest weapon. :\

god my dad pisses me off. fricken whiny bitching and moaning under his breath about how long it took me to bake some stuff and clean up and how he couldn't make dinner and ohmigawd there was just going to be no way.  the only people eating are him and my mum, and she literally said she doesn't care. nevermind the fact that i DID get it cleaned up on time (not that it was good enough for him, he had to take a towel and run it over something to "get the flour residue and cookie crumbs") and had everything put away, oh no, it's not good enough for pierre. obviously i'm in the wrong because i wasn't cleared out of there a good hour or two before he was in there. ><;;;

i'm not even done the cookies. i'm about halfway done, since 1/3 types are baked, and the dough for another is sitting in the fridge. >>;
