The closest goodwill is in Laconia. And they're super-overpriced. :L

And, well, I've never found any really interesting computery/technology things there. Unless you count that Redhat 5.2 software set, which is only moderately interesting......

So, filling out another application for Game-X-Change; since they're hiring once again. Also, waiting on Path of Exile to finish downloading (I started the download at about 10 or so this morning, and it's only up to 30%)

So, today has been rather mediocre.

Went to some garage sales, and the only thing I actually bought was an Xbox 360 battery charger for $.50 (Everything else at that sale was beaten up and broken; an overpriced laptop with a screen almost completely broken off from the body, assorted PlayStation games, DVDs, and CDs that were so scratched up they were most likely unplayable, etc.). While out, narrowly avoided a wreck because some shithead was speeding through a residential area (Not exactly comforting). Also, I wanted to meet up with my sister, but she's a bit too busy today; so I'm back home, wondering what to do.

I'm actually kind of glad to be back home, but I also hoped to visit with my sister today. Also, it feels like it should be later into the day than it is :\

on the downside, i didn't get to go to the con today. v__v; the bus ticket plus the pass would have been too expensive for mum, so instead we're just gonna go to harrison's soon and i can spree there. >>;
plus the cats seem a bit on edge today. or maybe it's just my imagination.

on the upside, i've been watching Ai Yori Aoshi all day, a classic i've wanted to see for years. ^^ it's adorable and sweet, with a very 90's feel to it (largely due to the art style), and despite the obligatory fanservice and harem comedy influences, it has a story that really makes you care about the characters and their relationship. -w-
also, the posters pit gave me came in today!! ^^ she kept them in amazing condition, it's as if they've been taken straight out of the magazine or dvd they came with!! :0
i can't thank her enough, even though i didn't get to go to the con i still get new posters. today's great after all. ^^

Posters reminds me. I need to get frames for the Zelda posters I got from a Nintendo promotion a few years ago ^_^;

that said, today was a good day. my mum was right in saying that i needed more time to recover, anyway. ^^;
