@Kriz: thanks for informing about ASMR! This definitely seems to be the thing happening with me while listening to music. (or someone touching my neck). Although I'm probably just a type B since I definitely need an external stimulus to trigger it.
Also for me the tingles rarely start at the top of my head but rather shoot directly down my spine (mostly in the neck area, I seem to be especially sensitive there). It's a really pleasant feeling, like all my nerves are on fire... sometimes it gets really intense which in turn causes me to involuntarily twitch and shiver, also goosebumps everywhere.
Up to now I thought that this was the very definition of the term "eargasm" but obviously there seem to be loads of different triggers for other people. :)

btw, I'm currently converting all the photos from my trip from CR2 to JPEG, I'll upload some tomorrow!

I can ASMR at will. Anywhere. I'm cooler than you.

Just wondering what you guys have payed ridiculous amounts of money for, I couldn't think of a thread to put this in and I didn't feel like making a new thread~
I've spent A LOT on otaku goods in recent years.
I think the biggest single purchase was this figure here. I think just under $200, like $175 or something.

As for music, here's something a little more electronic and calming... ish XD;

@stew: oh, i forgot to mention, like your Portal 2 find, i got a great deal on a big-name video game once; Bioshock 2 Limited Edition (with all the bonuses, from the posters to the LP) for $35, down from $110. -w-

@Kari: Punch Facebook for all of us -w-

In other news, the hard drive for my dad's laptop will be in sometime today. Yay!

Chocofreak13

cool, cool. hope it goes well. -w-

also, my sis has informed me that the way this is going to play out is that they'll switch everyone to timeline, and after a month they'll give people the option of "classic view".
i'm glad about that, if only because i only like one feature of timeline. the rest of it is crap. >>;

I don't usually recommend articles for others to read, but I came across a a couple of good ones this morning.

I loved the pictures in the 2nd one. That was so cool *__*

So, I just got some boxes out of my way in my room and vacuumed a bit, and wow what a difference it made. I have more room under my desk now!

Chocofreak13

mel is over, she's trading the ridiculous amount of rare/superpowered pokemon she found in a used copy of HeartGold she bought. (the previous owner left a gift for the new owner.) we're watching a movie she brought over that she wanted me to see, Summer Wars. i can see why.

i need to clean my room... >>;

What Mel's doing sounds like what I did to obtain all 151 on Pokémon Blue. I'd find a copy at a garage sale for $.25, trade over any Pokémon I didn't have over to my main copy of Blue, and sold the spare copy for a profit :3
I also did the same with my copy of Emerald (Transferring Pokémon from it to Platinum), before I started a new file

The Monbetsu one was fascinating. : o

I'll read the other one tomorrow, when I'm not ready to pass out >>

Ugh. Mom is incapable of leaving me alone today >_<;;

It doesn't exactly help I'm not in the best mood, because of the countless issues with Nimue.
