dissapointment is old news in this house. that said, mum has promised to supplement my presents a little after christmas, so the boots and computer repair i needed i'll likely be getting.

@bells, stew: surprise! i got bella a ball-jointed doll. that she picked out. along with the hair and shoes. >>; (but there's still a surprise in the box, i promise! >:3 )

Darn moving/fixing up the house got in the way of my gifting plans (and my presence on Skype, too; dad's been hanging around and recruiting my help in various projects around the house a LOT, so maintaining a conversation can be difficult).

@Paul: I saw a SGI system at the MIT Flea Market, though I forget which (it was smallish and blue).
