@Alex: Over what?

Anyway, I think I'll go with a Rattata. Something that isn't too powerful; like my Pikachu ended up being last time...

two weeks of eating cheese pizza daily.

Nichi

Yeah; too much cheese can do that to you

Also, scratch what I said about Rattata; I'm going with Wooper. Expect to see a topic about my journey a little later; so it doesn't end up overrunning this thead

That would probably be better; seeing as, although it just finished downloading, the file was corrupt

Any ideas how I would get it to you? I'm guessing Skype has a file size limits (it's a pretty big file, over 2gb) and I've never used any file uploading sites. : (

There is another option, if you only want to virtualize OS/2 Warp and not install it on a physical computer - download this 75mb OS/2 virtual machine file, open in MS VirtualPC, ???, PROFIT. (This is how I go acquainted with OS/2 initially). -w-;

...

Dammit to hell, I have this gnawing urge to do some art nouveau but I don't know where to start. It probably hurts that I have a VERY ambitious idea for a drawing/painting in my head..... >__>

Nichi

I'll try that VirtualPC file first; that will take a lot less time to download...

damn my delays in posting. :\ that's what i get for getting caught up in this quasi-home-economics project. :\

I s'pose the easiest way of sending OS/2 to Pentium would be to put it somewhere on a ftp... straightforward, uncomplicated and fast (in most cases)

Chocofreak13

i'd say megaupload, but i think their limit is 1gb. :\

If megaupload, split the file into multiple parts, let bzip2 run over them... should reduce the size considerably. Don't know however how much one can download there before they block you (if you're not a premium user)

Well, I just called about my jury duties...and, unfortunately, it's been cancelled. Thus, it's back to the normal, boring Monday routine...

Chocofreak13

@kraus: i'm a bit indifferent on mediafire; while they have no wait time or download limit, they're also the spammiest file sharing site i've been to. :\

MF is good for general purposes and smaller sized stuff. It's a bit slow though (only 300kB/s max or so), so for big shit Megaupload is glorious winnage (DAT 2 MB/S WITHOUT PREMIUM OR ANYTHING, DUDE, DAT 2 MB/S).
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

Nichi

MF doesn't make too much of a difference on my connection; when downloading, it's rare it goes above 60KB/s

zjhentohlauedy

i like mediafire. it makes me download things
My my, aren't you lovely~
