Okay, this is an idea for a story thread. It basically works like this: We create a story together. Everyone can contribute as much as he likes. There is no limitation to just one sentence or a matching beginning. Weird plot-twists - while they can be good ideas - should be used sparsely (this is only a recommendation, the first story I did like that had the hero die in the second posting and all further postings dealed with version 2.0, which aliens created to test humanity - and in the end move all of earth into one simulation). And Please be a tad coherent.
Sheila felt like being watched, while she was walking home through the barely lit streets of Hennef city. Of course, she has heard the warnings about rising crime rates, but she never assumed it would happen to her. She accelerated her steps. She heard steps following her, probably of more than one person. If they wanted just to rob her, she knew, they'd be disappointed. 6 million Euros in this times are nothing. She feared that they'd do something else to her when they would realize she had less money than needed to order a menue at the arches.
I love games like these. XD
But when Shelia turned around, a cat popped out of a tall tree. The cat talked and said "It's good to see you again Shelia!" She freaked. I mean, who wouldn't?! A cat just randomly came out of nowhere, starts talking and saying that it knows who you are. The cat then said...
"Ignore my current ... status. I am Sertab, yeah really." Sheila knew that Sertab was a girl who lived nearby with her traditional family. She was nott a cat however. "I copied my consciousness to this robot. I fear about the safety of my original instance. They have seen my logins at that site." I could not see anything wrong with the page she referred to, it wasn't even a pron-site. It was an internet forum for atheists, agnostics and humanists. However I could understand that her parents were not as tolerant as she about this matter. Their daughter an atheist? No way!
At exactly that time, two thugs appeared. apparently those who followed me. "Well done," one said while approaching me. "I knew you would find Sertab's second instance for me!" He pointed a device at the 'cat'.
the device blasted a lazer at sertab and she started to vanish. the other thug then grabbed Sheila forcing her in a van.
inside the van Sheila was blindfolded and an eerie voice called to her.
The eerie voice said, "Sheila! Look into your pocket..."
She went into her pocket and took out a small locket compact. Big enough to fit your hand. She was in shock. "No... It couldn't be..." The voice called out again, "Sheila... Use it... You were the chosen one..." Sheila said, "What the hell is going on here!!!" The errie voice said, "It will be explained later. But for now, use your locket! You know the words..." The voice was right. The words were coming to her. Those words were...
Clatto Verata N... Necktie... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word!
She tried to think hard. But the word just wasn't coming to her. And to make matters worse, the errie voice disappeared! She had to think of something! Just then, a word popped into her head! It wasn't an "N" word after all! It was...
"Ndati Hsigatalan!" the world around her dissolved, only to assume the form of a nearly cliche-ish caravan of the Hsi Gatalan, a kind of neo-tribe of the modern times reminding of the travelling people. Sheila knew nothing more about them than that they exist.
a local approached her, speaking in a foreign tongue she could not understand. A small grape-like fruit was given to her and the local signals her to eat it.
she hesitates but obliges. As Sheila gulps down the small morsel, the local once again begins to talk, but now, magically, she understands him.
he once again asks Sheila, "what are you doing here? how did you get here? this is not a safe place for someone like you!"
Sheila remained speechless, fearing the unknown world around her, she hesitates to talk, much less move.
Suddenly the world around her shook, and then she fainted. When she woke up she found herself in the os-tans' house...
Me-tan greeted her while 95-tan was making tea. "Where am I?" Shelia asked. Me-tan smiled. "This is the OS-tans home! You fell out of sky while I was walking in the park!" Me-tan said. Shelia looked at her surroundings. It was a calm and quiet room. Or at least, it was. Suddenly...
Apple-tan barged in! 95-tan grabbed her sword and ran to the doorway, making Me-tan trip over the tea and get it on everyone including Shelia. 2k said, "It's alright, 95 just hates Apples." "Is it always like this?", Shelia asked. "I mean is that girl with the long green hair in braids always this clumsy?" "Yes!" 2k shouted. "Well I should know! XP and I have to solve the problems she causes!"
