I'm back (again) sorry that i couldn't answer/talk to you in the last (few?) weeks
I was really busy caused by the hotel where i work -.- i had a lot of ots (overtime) i slept in the hotel too because i couldn't get home -.-
but now i'm back !
this here is the thread about the OS-tan manga (that i made before i was gone for a while)
I'll tell you all if i made some now pics or pages here!
you can give me some ideas too (to continue the story) but the best would be if you pm (so that the others don't know how it continues^^)
btw i have a bad news too -.-
i still have the "deep" i'm not really motivated to draw! (So please someone help me! if it is possible)
Yo Thurosis.
I'm guessing this "deep" that you mentioned before and still have now is "depression", no? Unfortunately then, we can't help you draw under such conditions if you're feeling depressed, and we can't help you with your depression if we don't know what's wrong with you (and besides, we really shouldn't be meddling in your personal life to begin with).
We'll do what we can, but more than anything this is a personal thing that's ultimately up to you and only you to resolve. Good luck. -.-
In the meantime, if you do want to make this your manga thread, I would recommend first:
A) Designating this as a picture thread, so you can post your work, and
B) Posting your last 3 masterpieces.

everyone must know (why I'm so glad and happy right now) because here in Germany, where I live, the people who knows me, know that I can draw, and made a lot of compliments too, but they never read one of my mangas... they only look on the pictures and through the pages but they never read one page of them... -.-
So I was a little bit disappointed from the world -.-
But now since you all read my manga everything turns to the opposite
but i must say that too, because I don't want that someone thinks wrong about me!

It's cool you made a Manga just for our forum...it's a very unique idea! And I really like your style of anime! I myself digitally color my drawings, but hand-colored is too rarely seen. Do you use colored pencils or markers?
the forcing structure and whot not is what I was talking about. and you expected them to be cranked out a bit fast if I remember.. but the point of such a thing would be for each page to take the story in a differnt direction as a differnt artist does it

However, as ive said before, to draw better you simply need practice and a desier to do so. For me, evertime I draw something I try to make it better then the last. I seemed to have offended C-Chan a bit with this mentality, as Im a little hard core about it. To his credit he has put out alot of good art in the time ive known him and improved greatly, just, he feels its more important to get things made then to make them the best he possibly can, and that conflicting set of belifes has apperently led to some hate and discontent I wasnt aware of..
anyhow, the point is, if you want to beat that, you have to try. I remember when i was looking at arts like that when i was younger and thinking the same thing, I go back now and look at the same pictures that once inspired me and relized that i was BETTER then them now. it just takes time practice, and dedication.

You say you can't do anime cel right now, but like I've tried telling you before, do you really believe you have to?
Putting this into perspective, over 90% of all the manga I know (excluding Western comics, which is a whole different thing) is drawn in black and white. While still maintaining the traditional inking styles and techniques, you're doing it all in color.
So if you think about it, you're already quite ahead in the game -- I'd probably say on par with a mid-level manga artist. I think you could even be a high-level manga artist, but for that you need something else besides tools and knowledge. ^__^
It goes by many names, but I think the best way to describe it is "self-respect". Believe in your abilities to pursue your talents, reach out to people, plan for the future and make the best of your real life as it is now (even with its problems and demands), and nothing will seem impossible.
Successes and failures, strengths and weaknesses, happiness and sorrow are indistinguishable to a person striving for their personal enlightenment. ^^

Gummster is a full-sized violin. A full-sized violin is 35 cm long. C-Chan is about 5 cm shorter, making him 30 cm tall (Which is actually undersize for most pigs ^-^). I am double C-Chan's height making me 60 cm... and so on until....

Don't worry about it thurosis-sama, he is reffering to my height analysis. In responce however, I'd like to say that I did my best to choose shots with as little perspective difference between charicters as possible. The most noticable ones, are between C.C. - Amigabob and Tsubashi - CaptBrenden. Other than that, perspectives ought to be accurate to within 15 cm, I would think. It is entirely possible , however, that you are much taller than I calculated initially, since you are never in direct comparison with a know constant. C-Chan, Kami-Tux, Gummster, Tsubashi, and Exa are the only ones I'm sure of!

Well, think about it this way. If she didn't slaughter all those innocent people, her successor (or overthrower) probably would have. Especially with all the former Japanese rebel elements consolidated in one spot, disarmed and given a completely false sense of security -- you might as well have painted bull's eyes on every person that would've lived in that death-trap known as the Special Administration Region.

I preffer to use the word "naive". I don't think elevens would have been "eliminated", Schniezel doesn't seems to be of the kind who likes the path of slaughter. But the elevens situation would remain the same: If everything had went according to the plan, Zero would be left with no arguments against Britannia, so he would have to surrender. Then It'd be just a matter of time before the SAR failed. Win-Win situation for Britannia.

Schniezel probably doesn't, yet both he and Euphemia turned blind eyes to the slaughters perpetrated by his brother and sister earlier in the series. That the Britannians kill off innocent men, women and children by the thousands in classic cases of collective punishment, and then wonder with genuine stupor why on earth so many "Elevens" hate them, is what lends the series it's frustrating yet tragically realistic feel.
In fairness to that woman, if this is an alternate timeline where the British Empire of old survived to this day, then its only natural that the colonial perception of human vs sub-humans is still considered the norm, much like how seeing people kill each other on stage was quite normal to the Romans. So perhaps Eupehmia is truly naive, because she can't (as much as she tries to) conceive of the magnitude of the Elevens' loss of life, land and identity.
As you say, the SAR would've failed miserably, as it's essentially just saying "Lost your wife, kids, neighbors, house and valuables? Oh gee, sorry. Here's $1000 and a spot in a Reservation to make it all better". Sure it offers a momentary peace, and desperate people love peace more than anyone I think. But once you're used to peace, then the reality of the situation comes back to you, either calmly or at the barrel of a gun.

I'm no gundam expert...but I think it was the "Eurasian Federation" instead of the USE, at least in Gundam Seed. But then, I have never watched any other Gundam series, so I can be wrong. Not that it matters, USE sounds good.

My old 98 was a nightmare. It seemed it was constantly worse with age. My XP seems to be doing nothing but staying the same in performance, stability, and usefulness ;010 I could actually say it's getting better with age, seeing as K8 had a very rough, unstable start...

I did enjoy the last pages especially when your alter-ego (your past self) gave feelings on how you have some sort of passion on the whole Anime and Manga scene (kinda made me LOL'd into your reaction :P ) especially on where those fictional characters came into the reality world. Great job on putting up some suspense! The whole story's lesson surely deals on "responsibility as you make"...I'm looking forward for the next pages ;010 ;019

Yep, one's a video editor, the other an amateur photographer. And while neither is particuarly receptive to Linux, my lobbying efforts have helped one "upgrade" back to XP, the other to a Mac. That's at least two more consumers who are mad as hell, and clearly not going to take it anymore... `v'

With all due respect, Captain-sama, Thurosis did request the 'Mac Manga' and in following with the rules, the OP has been given large amounts of power as to what constitutes 'allowable posting' (as stated in section 4 of the rules) Therefore, I do believe the number of 'inexcusable posts' are as follows:
Darknight - 4
C-Chan - 3
NewYinzer - 1
Thus by the unwritten rule of 'three strikes,' which rule seems prevalent here, both Darknight and C-Chan are subject to Moderator chastisement to a small degree.
So, not too harsh, okay? ^.^
So how about Thurosis' Manga? I'd say that it is pretty good. I haven't seen much of it recently, but Thurosis can keep whatever pace he wants. I've seen some bad crossovers on Wakachan (everything seems to include Eva or Bleach), but Thurosis has a good ability to capture the personalities of characters and use them effectively in a tasteful crossover. While there is improvement that can be made on the artwork, since I can't draw to save my life, I don't think it's fair for me to be the judge. But I like his style, and a little more practice will yield some results in the long run. Overally, I like it, and keep up the good work, Thurosis!

In the Manga competition "MangaMagie VI" in Germany, i met ramdomly the winner of 2004 and 2006 and they recommend me to take part in a Study from "Comicademy" inn 2008 for a whole year.
but i must apply through thousands of applicants because they take olny 15 people in every big cities...
AND I GOT A PLACE !!! :D
and i also started a new Web-gallery (also a recommend of a new friend who i met in the competition) in deviant art :D

and after a short while are also who requested me to draw pics for them :D
(i get paid for drawing!!) Caused by that i improved my skills in digital coloring

Hi, Thurosis. Whatever your work is, if you post links to it here, I keep an eye on it. Even tho it is in german, i'll try to read it (as a kid I used to read Donald Duck pocket books in german when I lived in Spain), and of course norwegian is a familiar lingo, I try to study germanic languages, the common words are numerous). The syntax is somewhat different.

I don't mind the loss of color, since that way you can focus more on making the action a lot more dynamic. You can really feel the difference in the last comic! *kow-pow!* ^V^
