discuss?
Type A, I'm pretty sure. I never even finished K-ON!!, and SW (first season) took some resolve to finish. Then again, I'm a type A (on that scale) about most things, so yeah. ->-
I fit somewhere in-between.
as do i. :\
I'm guilty of, uh... I dunno...
I like K-ON! But I fit the Type A description more... Hmm...
I think I have a mix of both sets of traits? Maybe I'm Type C. Yeah...
svxs's Type C classification:
--A person who simply enjoys “anime.â€
--Is proud of Japan’s anime.
--Evaluates anime based on direction, voice acting, art, etc.
--Evaluates anime based on which seiyuu are in it and what the characters look like.
--Loves moe elements and complex story elements both...
--Prefers an anime if it includes cute or beautiful characters. But also a plot that fits the anime's genre?

I conclude that I and most other people are this "Type C"
agreed. -w-
Whoaa...
I just realized that my forum name is, uh... svx? Weeeird.
Was svxs taken? That's what I usually use... Hmm...
way to have a realization, man. :\
And then svx was a zombie.
I have a mix of Type A and B characteristics -- not an otaku by any means, more involved than a casual viewer, I enjoy lighthearted "cute" anime as well as the heavier (and heaviest) stuff, depending on my mood of course. Same goes for any form of entertainment.
That said, I think a show with a weak plot and likable characters > a perfect storyline and poorly crafted characters.
i agree with ya, good characters form a better foundation than a good plot sometimes.
honestly, i don't see you as much of an otaku based off your posting, bells. you're too calm about anime. the only thing you fangirl over is old computers, so by japanese standards, you'd be a konpyuta otaku--ã,³ãƒ³ãƒ"ューã,¿ãƒ¼ãŠãŸã. (lol, i ran that through a translator and i was right about the romaji spelling! xD)
80% Type A, 20% Type B. I enjoy stupid crap on occasion.
who doesn't? :3
Like a lot of people I know, I'm more of a Type C; after all, I enjoyed Lucky Star almost as much as Fullmetal Alchemist
to be honest, i'd call us all type Cs, in varying degrees.
Everyone is different = Everyone is type C = Everyone is the same = Paradox much?
Nejin's post raises one question: If everyone is the same, than why are "viewers like me" keeping America's Got Talent on the air?
because america has a nasty habit of generalizing all of us into one lump, ignoring us fringe people who don't fit in with the herd. :\
fairly old chart.
this might be a shock, but i am a type A.
interesting. :\
most people that participated in this thread were type c, a fusion of types a and b. :\
