My Ah! My Goddess DVDs are at 1024x576 resolution.  That's not standard def, that's more like enhanced def.  I dunno how the hell they'd display properly on a normal TV and DVD player.

test it? :\

EDIT: hey guys, idk how this never came up in conversation, but what religion are you guys? (just curious, let's not make this a war)

i consider myself 3/4 pagan, 1/4 hindu (i pay reverence to 3 pagan gods, 1 hindu god), but i'm a bad practitioner since i barely ever pay tribute. ^^; still, i thank/revere my main goddess whenever i can. ^^

i put most of my stock in science, but i leave a little space for the majik side as well. ^^

I'm a god-believing agnostic... but I consider the details of my religion (should I have one) a matter of personal business alone. -w-

fair enough. if anyone doesn't want to answer, that's their business. just posing a friendly question out of curiosity. -w-

Research NDE!

I am a follower of love :)

I suppose it can be called a religion, or...maybe it can even not be called one?
Nothing really matters but love, though.

Very few people who have been declared dead yet lived have said otherwise... generally, nothing but unconditional love matters...
and it's very pleasant to be loved unconditionally

And love...  it's acceptable as both a religion and a supplement to one (even for lack of one!), ne?

Love and passion keeps life exciting, certainly.  That burning passion is MOE.  It lights a fire under your ass that gets you working, creating, and doing great things.

Well, Catholic reporting in.  It's part of my Filipino blood.  I still go to Mass every week, still consider myself a Catholic.  My religion classes in my Jesuit high school actually helped, in that they encouraged us to question our religion. Healthy debate is good for strengthening faith, provided you have a good teacher moderating. heh  I respect other viewpoints and religions, and I won't go all preacher-mode on you.

I guess being born and raised in Los Angeles also helps with the tolerance thing.  If I were to explain LA in one word it would be 'contradictory'. It's fun being a person that may seem contradictory on the outside.  Religious, with a degree in engineering.  Lover of logic, programming, and expressions of creativity in art, music, and photography.   I could probably think of more, but I think that's enough rambling from me.

I'm surrounded by agnostics and people who hate religion or are fanatical with their beliefs, so I never bring it up...
I never feel like I need to though

Hmm... I think the only Catholic I knew was this cute girl I used to carpool with (when I was ~14, her mom drove us home from two separate schools)

I had an Arab friend when I was ~11 (whose name is eerily similar to mine save for a Y instead of a J) whom I think was Muslim?

Plenty of Christians around my neck of the woods, though. But they tend to be short-tempered and quite racist
Actually, I make racist jokes pretty constantly myself...
Hmm...
Well, I don't care if people joke about me/my race (German ancestry, Americanized over time)... Is it okay if I help them come up with good ones? :p

SleepyD

Extremists of any sort tend to be people you shouldn't take too seriously.  I only talk about my religion when the topic comes up. Like now.

And the joke thing is cool. If they seriously mean something that's overly racist, I might be worried, but even then it'll depend.  I was in an all-boys high school.  My classmates would have jokes running the spectrum from stupid, nerdy, racist, and sexual.  It's all good as long no one gets hurt.  If you were in my group of friends in high school there'd probably be some jokes involving you and my (also americanized) Polish friend. haha

Wow. Couldn't have described it any better. Except for the smiley at the end which I still don't recognise. x)
