I wouldn't know about the newest version of Skype. I have the feeling the Linux one is stuck in the v2.1.x.x forever. Some weeks ago when I visited my parents, I saw the Windows version, and well... it confused me: its layout has changed since last summer and not really for the better. :/

A spark of creativity has happened! Finally gotten back the will to draw with a school project I'm doing, a comic book of the cell cycle! Using Littleshrimp touhou designs I've been making a pretty brofist eligible comic. When its done I'll post it so I'm getting back to work!

need some help deciding on weather to do a 4koma style comic or a classic style comic, what you guys think?

well, it depends on how the plot works. i was planning on doing Nanami's House as a 4-koma series since its plot is in short bursts. In contrast, Os-tan Comiket has a clear storyline, plot elements, subplots, etc. it could stand alone as a story. Nanami's House, however, probably couldn't.

ask yourself if your comic idea could be a story (no pictures). if yes, traditional comic. if no, 4-koma. (that's my reasoning, anyway.)

4Koma it is then! Thanks for that, I was thinking about doing a classic style comic but its not really a story I'm doing.

Since I'm at this topic I guess I'll explain what I'm making.
First off, my science teacher is a hurp a durp when it comes down to it and truly thinks that a comic/picture book for a child audience would be a good project for showing the cell cycle with vocab only someone whom took Biology could understand (Telophase, Chromatids, Anaphase, etc.). Using my intuition I decided that a comic would be the best route because it needs to be creative when if I did something else I could quite possibly make a serious book with detailed drawings but its just not worth it. Thus taking touhou, something I'm familiar with, and using the characters to represent different things (Okuu= Nuclear membrane= encircles the area with a hurdur face on). This comic isn't going to make any sense but I guess I have no choice and I'll have to make it as understandable as possible.

started to do a cover just to make it look nice but I may just drop the cover.

that also sounds like an os-tan comic i did in my junior year of high school. it was an orientation to my high school, with several small comics. :3 my teacher insisted on keeping a copy, but i hacked it apart one more time and scanned and uploaded it to the gallery. ^^
