I, on the other hand, am slowly regaining my enjoyment of life now that work has slowed down to bizarrely sedate.  We've had a daily drop in packages from 380s to 240s with stops dropping from 200 or so to today's 151.

i'm getting worried that i might be fired soon. though i was called in twice this week, i was only scheduled twice as well....and i'm not scheduled at all next week. ;^;

Talk to your manager about it? Mention that you like working there and want more hours, or that you'd be willing to take on more hours during the holiday season. I don't know if it would help, but it can't hurt to ask about it, either.

the problem is that the holiday season is basically over and i've already told them that. i am gonna call the manager next week about it to see if it was a mistake or i truly have no hours at all but it may not be her, it may be corporate. ><;

Today I got into math class before the Prof. showed up, went away to use the restroom, and when I returned she'd come in and the class was telling her about furries.

Me: "WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE?!"

A few minutes later, the other math prof. walked into the classroom, our math professor pulled her aside into her office to tell her about furries, and the entire class watched in quiet anticipation and then broke out laughing when we saw what her reaction was. (It was surprise/bafflement.)

Then for the test she put on some music, it was instrumental Christmas music and it was annoying one of the guys in class, so she turned it off. She asked if anyone had any music requests and Dan shouted "PLAY TOM JONES" and started singing It's Not Unusual complete with the Carlton dance hand/arm gestures. (

I only got 88% on my test ... she's letting people do make-up tests if they feel unhappy with their score, however she said mine was high enough that I should probably just leave it...

Also, with all the goofing around it's a wonder we're learning anything. At least four people from the current class are moving onto the next one ... god help whoever ends up in class with us.
