It is the fate of things, now, to be abandoned and rejected by their creators, it seems. We'll just have to hope for things to get better sometime.
There there *patpats crying userbase* ^-^
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

Bella

QuoteYou're not the only one. I was wondering why senpai was defaming it so vehemently; I was anticipating a vastly different page. Drat! I had my hopes up for this petition! ;_;

Yeah, a more accurate name for that page would have been "ibm-doing-what-we-knew-they-would" : |

You're not helping my XP Persecution Complex, Nejin :P

C-Chan

Here's something to help turn the tide of persecution for Bella-sama.  ^__^

Admittedly, though,... I'm not altogether down with this.  XP has an OEM life of about another 5 months.  Combine that with the too-good-to-be-true deal, and either it sounds like bait of some kind OR Asus is trying to sell off all their XP licenses somehow (you know,.... like an EVERYTHING MUST GO sale).  ^.^;

Okay, so maybe there IS a certain persecution thing after all,... but hey, might as well take advantage of the bargain, no (mainly for the SDHC card and mouse)?  ^___^

Better than this, more honest offer:

Added after 12 minutes:

*returns with cookies*

Wow,... never realized how hard it was to find DOS stories in the news,....... that wasn't related to DoS attacks.  ^^;

But I did find this heart-wrenching piece:

*starts rummaging around for Nurse outfit*

I suppose if we're anything like the S.O.S. Brigade, you'd be our Mikuru.  ^v^

Regarding the Macbook Air:
Well, it's thin but not small. A major turn-off for me is the fact that it doesn't come with a CD drive. -_- I did notice how apple's spokesman did put in a word about Itunes though... Shameless advertising? (Yes, without a Optical drive they'll be forced to use our pay services!) Though I've seen M$ do alot worse. I'd still perfer an EeePC.

Hey Dos! Welcome to the MEWXPZLFUDAWV club ^_^

I love these kinds of stories. ^.^

^_^
Yeah, you never see anyone giving vista to kids in other countries.

Now, I'm off! I shall return when I have more news...and small laptops..

C-Chan

Bring more small laptops!!!  ^v^

*starts rummaging for bunny seat for DOS-san*

I don't mind it not having the optical drive -- I mean with the right technology, you could potentially obsolete optical disks.  But by GAWD it's just a thin laptop,... and for all intents purposes, not really much better than the cheaper Macbooks.

Granted we now have much thinner processors thanks to this,... but... not much else in the innovative department....

And no user replaceable battery it seems either.....

.....

Oh.... well.....

Cloudbook for me now.  ^___^
