@Choco: This version that I'm running (TinyVista), doesn't have Windows Sidebar, and I don't know how to install it =(
@Kenji: Hello. I've seen some of your drawings, they're pretty cool.

Nichi

@Kari: Since he wants to keep it under $500 or so, it'll likely have at minimum:

- Pentium Dual-Core (Maybe a Core i3 if I can get a good enough deal)
- 4GB RAM
- 250GB hard drive
- A mid-range graphics card
- Windows 7

@Leaf: Very nice :3

So I'm now using a different machine.

Although it has better specs and runs considerately faster, it's still pretty bad compared to modern standards.

It just says "MULTIMEDIA COMPUTER SYSTEM" on the machine case, and when running the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, it doesn't specify a system model or manufacturer, so I'm guessing this computer is custom built.

Chocofreak13

it could also be a cheapo little brand we've never heard of. why did you switch, though? is Micro Vista not working out? :\

No, it's great, seriously. But it is a little slow at times.

It won't work ;^;
The setup program comes up with a black screen and blank error box, and if I click that, it restarts my computer.

Nichi

Might be an issue with the graphics card :\

I don't know... I'm afraid that if I tinker with the machines, I may end up destroying them.

Chocofreak13

if you're really, REALLY careful and get advice from us, maybe it'll be okay. :0
