This isn't really a picture of my desktop, but of a silly text mod I did to one dialog box in Windows 2000 a few years back; shortly after downloading Resource Hacker. Well, not really a full-on mod of the Safe Mode dialog box, but an extra line added onto the end:

Installed the Java Desktop System (a slightly modified GNOME by Sun) on my Solaris fileserver and set a pretty nice wallpaper ^^
