I wouldn't say that. The material is pretty impressive, but I think they're doing a bit too much of a CENCO approach...and with the abstract setting it all is, no narration or explanation whatsoever might be somewhat of a bad move.

Well they do have Great bgm and the graphic was quite good... too bad for the plot tho...

I have to agree with the people who say the Black Rock Shooter OVA lacks a bit, plot-wise. While I can understand they had to build up the story in both ways, but the way it was executed with the erratic switches and the lack of balance between the two timelines (not to mention the anticlimatic ending) made this anime less than spectacular, I believe.
