Finally getting around to getting a ME-tan warning icon tattooed on my arm. Going to get it done today even. Will post pics when it's done.

Awesome your very brave one, I would be to afraid to get a tattoo and I would be moving and squirming around in pain, but anyways did it hurt?

At first it felt like getting a shot from a doctor, but it very quickly numbed and just kind of felt like a a vibrating pen being pushed onto my arm.
It was pretty quick and easy tbh.

It does require a lot of aftercare though, lots of moisturizing.

I need to watch this still! I'm a bit anxious anytime OS-tan stuff comes in the wider world of internet cultural analysis, both because it's near and dear, and something that's not without its flaws (like much of aughts internet culture & humor).

That being said I've kind of expected OS-tans to reenter the internet consciousness for awhile? The pockets of the internet I frequent probably aren't representative, but with the popularity of personifications vis-a-vis Umamusume I expect more people to fall down the "turning random things into anime girls" rabbit hole and stumble onto OS-tans eventually, since they were one of the first big examples of this phenomenon?

I really need to cross-post some of my personifications thoughts that get posted to Tumblr or Discord here (or in a new thread) because I'm p sure OSC is going to outlive Tumblr or Discord the way they've been going for the last couple years, and I want to have an archival record of my random brain cruft about my characters in case those other spaces get venture capital'd out of existence.

(I'm a bit wary about using any of the old wiki / annex / lore threads since a lot of this is pretty disconnected from that, and has kind of become its own thing.)

On that note I keep thinking of posting a Mainframe Men playthrough / review thread. While not OS-tan related, it's definitely in the spirit of it (what if old computer was actually person?)

I will NEVER let this site die! It has so many precious jpegs of so many precious gijinkas! If I can get this thing to outlive DeviantArt and Tumblr I will take it with pride!
