i love that tree. in fact, stuff like that is why i still like Spongebob, no matter how weird/stupid it gets. of course, i haven't watched it in years. but i have to say, out of long-running cartoons like that, Spongebob is probably the one that stayed the truest to the original material (unlike Fairly OddParents or The Simpsons).

Part of me was thinking it somehow involved the ZX-Spectrum. I only know it because that's what Rare developed their earliest games on (Like Jetpac; as later featured in Donkey Kong 64)
