Hello there! My forum name is Undakai.  Yes, I did just copy paste that from the guy above me and replace the name.  Obviously (I think) I'm an anime fan.  Other likes include Baseball, American Football, gaming, politics, food (Asian/Italian food in particular), and drawing.  

Currently (though hopefully not for much longer) I am living in Alaska...which is freezing, though I am only here on a TDY from my home station base located in the lovely tropical island of Okinawa, Japan.  Interestingly enough, they don't sell cold weather gear that is suitable for Alaskan weather there.

Happened across this site by way of Wikipedia, which had a link to this site.

The fact that Okinawa is a tropical island makes that pretty predictable, no...? I, for one, envy the Alaskan winters for actually being proper winters, and not the shitty blown-down ripoffs of it I usually get.

Yeah, it was.  Unfortunately, I got the warning about 4 hours prior to leaving (at the end of my shift, no less) that I was, in fact, leaving, so finding that rare shop and/or getting something shipped to me wasn't exactly an option.  I'm just glad I wasn't the most screwed over person in our group...someone had a 1 hour warning.
