Technical details

Macintosh System 3.4 is the most obscure and short-lived Mac OS with few records of its existence (and no information as to why this Mac OS version was created!). System 3.4 was released only for the Macintosh 512Ke/Macintosh ED and was distributed with AppleShare 2.0. This Mac OS has no System Software version number and uses Finder 6.1 which is the same version of the finder used by Macintosh System 6.0.x. (compare that to Mac System 3.0 - 3.3 which use Finder 5.x)

Character details

Macintosh System 3.4-tan is represented as a tall and bizarre girl with long dark brown hair tied into wide and forked pigtails. Her hair is decorated with red ribbons, three gold hairclips on one side and a 3.4 hairclip on the other. She wears a pair of large mask-like sunglasses, a grey blouse, light blue skirt, yellow leggings and red shoes. She carries a parachute backpack in the style of a compact Mac.

She is very bold, daring and highly knowledgeable in several fields of education, but makes her living primarily as a stunt performer. Her exact age is unknown but she is allegedly Macintosh System 6-tan's twin sister (because System 3.4 also uses Finder 6.1), but because there are no detailed records of her past, these cannot be confirmed or disproven by anyone, hence why she is subject to conspiracies among her peers. Sometimes she uses these to her advantage.

OSC Notes

Unlike the other Mac-tans who all live together in the House of Mac faction, Macintosh System 3.4-tan lives as a wanderer by choice to improve her skills and follow her dreams.

In her youth, She was meek, frail and had no purpose in life. She left the Apple Family household in 1991, with the desire to redeem her pitiful childhood and find some purpose in her life, especially after seeing Mac System 6-tan's acts of self-redemption. Her early years as a wanderer were hard, especially during the OS Wars. Although she wasn't living with the rest of the Mac-tans anymore, she donated a lot of her money and supplies she earned from odd jobs to the rest of the family to try and aid them, even at her expense. She began her training as a stunt performer and daredevil after the OS Wars of the mid-90's were over, and considered it her ideal job since few things scared her anymore.

Given how obscure this Mac OS version is --so obscure it's not mentioned on all Mac history sites--, how limited its release was, and that it likely does not have any userbase, she should be a deceased character but is in fact still alive, but living on borrowed time. The main thing keeping her alive today is her sheer willpower to live! She has known this for several years now which is also part of why she became a daredevil. She strives to live her life to the fullest and to the extreme since any day could be her last, but remains optimistic and grateful for all the years she has lived, all the time she has had to follow her dreams and see her family regain their fortunes.
