This more common appearance as System 5-tan is a phantom, usually invisible to those outside the Mac family, her existence is believed to only be an urban legend by outsiders. She can be seen by the Classic Mac-tans, plus A/UX-tan and the early OSX-tans due to their compatibility with the Classic Mac. It is unclear if the later OSX-tans (OSX Leopard and later) can see her, or if she can choose to make herself seen to outsiders she trusts enough.

She has dark purple hair in a ponytail, topped with a leaf-shaped cowlick, carries a magic wand, wears long opera-style gloves, boots, a dark cape, a frilly dress. Her right eye is pink, and her left eye is silver. Her dresses are Victorian-esque, multi-layered, are mainly white or grey with hints of color. She is also much taller than her older sisters, since System 4.2 is much larger in size than its predecessors. The magic wand she carries is in the style of a traditional magician's wand, and she needs to wield it to cast spells that allow her to multitask, referencing MultiFinder being a separate program.

She is a talented magician, fortune-teller, organ player and prankster who especially likes pranking outsiders. Personality-wise, she is friendly, playful and loves to joke around, but feels lonely when others visit because they cannot see her.

She gets along best with System 4-tan, A/UX-tan, System 6-tan, and OSX Cheetah-tan, because of their trickster tendencies, or because they can easily appreciate her sense of humor.
