Yeah! I really miss the original "Alvin and the Chipmunks" cartoon! (it was one of my favorite shows)

I don't know if the newly-released movie is good or not (although some of my classmates have seen it and like it) but I feel it will never compare to the original!

I don't think Ulysses 31 is french. hehe http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1732

ya old cartoons are being raped one after the other! hahaha

and what coincidence! my brothers and i were just browsing youtube for videos like those a few weeks ago!
My my, aren't you lovely~

Aurora Borealis

I have watched a great variety of cartoons in my childhood. A collection of cartoon serieses that spanned decades, from the 1930's to the 1990's (with the cartoons from the 1940's + 1950's era being my favorite, with "Looney Toons", "Merrie Melodies", "Tom + Jerry" and cartoons by Tex Avery!)

I really really miss the older original serieses made by Cartoon Network: the "Cartoon Cartoons" ("Dexter's Lab", "Powerpuff Girls", "Cow and Chicken", "Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?", "Mike, Lu and Og", "Johnny Bravo", "Sheep in the Big City" and "Time Squad"!)

And how is this for a blast from the past? Recently on Cartoon Network debuted the show "The Mr. Men Show" which I thought was a new show at first until I recognized some of the characters- I suddenly remembered watching one of the older versions of "The Mr. Men Show", which I remember watching on Small World (a Cartoon Network spinoff aimed towards younger children, lasted from the mid-90's to the early 2000's)

Speaking of cartoon network and old cartoons and today, I heard they just started airing a new "george of the jungle" and i hear the executive producer or something is the daughter of the late original creator of "George of the jungle"

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo0FVs9KvrQ - Ghostbusters (the Filmation oneâ€"I don't think I ever watched DiC's version, not to say that I thought it better, I just probably never heard about it)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NqGQyMF5a_0 - Street Sharks

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=36NgK-vJc1M - Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YUcEElPqSfM - Swat Kats

I did watch Extreme Ghostbusters later -
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wwHD7Y_Duso - as well as Godzilla - The Series -
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=aQENCPSCVjg. I watched Reboot when it was on, and I watched it right up until the end of the second series when they had that musical thing. I didn't watch the next season, because I didn't know there was one, but since I've heard it left people hanging, I'd rather not be disappointed. :P

Inspector Gadget, Beast Wars (kind of, though now I don't like it so much), Rescue Rangers, Tailspin, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Freakazoid, Quack Pack, The Tick, Garfield and Friends, Biker Mice From Mars and The Ren & Stimpy Show are more of the ones I remember from "the good old days". There's one more that I can't remember for the life of me. It was some kind of animated variety show.

Invader Zim, Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Batman Beyond and Batman: TAS were all great, though they came later.

nagato

My favourite north american cartoon has always been Beast wars fallowed by Reboot and Shadow raiders. I never really liked any other non-anime cartoons. Though I guess the old spiderman cartoons, the 90's spider man, x-men, x-men: evoloution, teen titans and justice league/Justice league: unlimited are okay. Oh and teenage mutant ninja turtles both the 80's version and the new one. (though personaly I always preferred the movies)
Feb 4th 2008. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

"you wanna tangle red?" Stephen Colbert
"I wanna tangle." Conan O\'Brian
"How do you want to settle this?" Stephen Colbert
"I want to settle this a civilized way... with violence, violence ladies and gentlement." Conan O\'Brian
"Lets do it. Come on. I am going to kick your ass." Stephen Colbert.

I grew up on a few things, including Reboot, Sonic the Hedgehog and the Super Mario Bros. Super show. I also VAGUELY remember Inspector Gadget. And I was a die-hard Dangermouse fangirl, for some reason...

I forgot about most of the episodes, but that's what replay value is all about. 8D

Pokemon, Digimon and such came later.

Smokey

I grew up with the golden oldies from Warner Bros. and Disney...

I pretty much grew up with Super Mario Bros Super Show. For gods sake, they aired it up til 2006 on the Nordic Jetix.

NejinOniwa

That long? Seriously! I thought they stopped with that when I was like, 10 or something...
YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS

DoYouEvenCare

I still thought it was cool that they kept airing it.
Jetix Nordic still airs the 90's Spiderman Cartoon as well.
