Last night at around 4am I found myself unable to sleep and watching GITS on Adult Swim. When I remembered this Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya/GITS parody opening I once saw posted on some imageboard, but lost.


A bit of googling later, it turned up

And I also found one from Strike Witches

But wait! There's more! Cause then I found a Haruhi/Cowboy Bebop parody op, that's also epic

And an Evangelion/Bebop parody

My question to OSC: Which do you think is a better parody, and why?

The Haruhi/Tank! opening is awesome, but my favorite will always
involve Tom Jones

the first two recieve points for seeming like they were the ACTUAL opening for both animes, however my favourite is the NGE x Bebop one, since the original Evangelion opening was just so pretentious (and i LOVE tank).

that fake opening kinda made me wanna see strike witches. :3

no. though that opening makes me want to. the opening also make me want to see Maria+Holic and Hellsing (also helps that the music is badass 90's anime chic and alucard is HOT).
